At 12:30 AM, John woke up, feeling like someone was watching him. He looks at his window and sees something move. He is scared to death, and to make it worse, he heard the doorbell ring. He's the only one awake, so he goes to the door. He looks out the peephole, and sees a man, but he can't make out his face. Finally, he notices that it's his dad, coming home from work. His dad tells him that his grandfather might be coming sometime later that night. His father stays up, to wait for his grandfather, and at about 1:52 AM, John's father hears the doorbell, gets up, and immediately opens the door, not thinking who it might be. He looks up to see a man, holding a knife. The man looks down at him and smiles. In the morning, at about 8:39 AM, John wakes up and sees the man, raiding the fridge, holding the decapitated head of his father.
