The same boring routine, tiresome job and Los Angeles air. Life has got to the point where there is no fun.

"Reschedule today's meeting for next week. Get me the contract papers of the recent deal. Don't forget to request for some time while replying to the manager for agreeing to his proposition." Mr. Anderson was continuously barking commands as I stood in his office making a poker face, pretending to pay heed to his opinions. Absentmindedly, eying the opulent office floor.

Mr. William Anderson never behaved as my boss instead he always treated me like his son. There are times like this when he stresses a lot. Being the assistant of this billionaire even I have a heavy work load some times. I can somehow get over it but this stone head needs to rest or very soon he will be found in the hospital.

"You may leave, Ethan." Nodding, I left his office and felt like a prisoner escaping his cell.

When I shifted from Doncaster, I thought living all by myself would be difficult then Chris helped me like the life saver he is. Besides being my roommate and colleague he has also been my best mate. He is also the reason I got job here. He will never tell me but I know he envies that I attained a lot of success becoming boss's assistant while he's still struggling as an employee. Yet we both are best friends and we know each other's past life. We trust each other and share everything.

On my way, back to the cubicle, I noticed the daisies kept in a vase and a smile crept on my face. Daisy, her name brought so many memories. No matter how hard I try to forget her I know I can't. She is the girl I can call my own. Our very first encounter on the reopening day of high school replayed in my mind like a broken record-

"Excuse me, hope this seat beside you is not occupied."

Diverting my gaze from the sight of students who were carelessly playing on the school ground, I noticed the most beautiful brunette I've ever laid my eyes on with mesmerising pair of light green eyes.

"Um no, you may have it." Just as I said that she blushed, it wasn't any ordinary blushing, her face became completely beet red.

"You possess captivating eyes." I never intended to say that, those words just left my mouth. She blushed ..... again. If it would have been possible her face would have become even more red.

"Your eyes remind me of the blue skies", There was sincerity in her voice. She would call someone ugly and yet it would sound like she is appreciating someone.

"I'm Danielle Pratt," she broke the silence by introducing her name.

"Fancy name there Danielle", I won't deny the fact that the way she smiled at my reply turned me on. The angelic smile fits her enticing face. The look in her eyes was not satisfied, it was as if she was waiting for me to complete my sentence.

"Mr. Stranger, do you have a name?" as soon as she said that I chuckled. It's so much unlike me. Much to my dismay, I was expecting her to say something else.

"Romeo is pleased to meet you, young lady," her cheeks turned crimson. Even, her ears turned red this time.

"His end was gloomy. Their love story was incomplete." A frown formed on pretty her face. Her genuine smile melted my heart and my stomach was already doing somersaults. She can call me anything and I will accept it wholeheartedly.

"Even if their love story was incomplete, their love was eternal. They were made for each other."

She looked at me and asked, "What kind of ending do you wish for?"

"Obviously a happy one." Keeping my eyes on the floor, I ran a hand through messy hair.

"Would you want to die with the one you love or would you rather live your life with her?" She kept her gaze fixed at me and asked something which confused me. What was she trying to say?
