Chapter 39

(Asher's P.O.V)
Two years later....

I walked in the bar with Klaus spotting Arabella with a drink in her hand. My heart sank. Two years later and she was still beautiful as ever. She had a silky red gown on and it hugged her in all the right places.

I started to walk towards her quickly approaching the bar. "I'll have whiskey" I told the bartender. "Asher" I heard her beautiful voice say. I smirked as I looked over at her. "Its very nice to see you too" I told her. I pulled her close to and gripped her chin. "Why did you leave? Why did you give up?" I asked her. My lips inches away from her face. She shoved me off of her.

"First of all dont touch me like that ever again do you hear me? Our love is over I don't want you to fucking touch me. Just stay the hell away" she snapped on me. I stared at her in disbelief. I could smell the liquor on her breath. She slurred as she walked closer to me. Inches away she almost slapped me but Klaus quickly grabbed her hand.

"I don't think you want to do that" he told her as she threw her hand to her side. "Get out now before I rip both of your throats out" she threatened and I quickly grabbed Klaus and stormed out the bar.

(Klaus's P.O.V)
The whole drive home my dad drove quiet. I could see the anger and pain in his face. As it got later through the night I decided to stay with my dad just in case he tries to do something stupid. I finally crashed in my old room. But I was soon woken up from a loud crash from downstairs. I quickly ran down the stairs to see my dad on his knees in the living room.

I walked towards him seeing the broken picture frame of a picture of my mom. He clenched his fists as blood dripped off his knuckles. "I gave that woman everything. I couldn't see the world without her. And now. I want to anything and everything to destroy any memory of happiness to let go of the very pitiful pain." He said. I kneeled down next to him and put my hand on his shoulder. "We need to tell Cat" I told him. "Could you tell her? I have papers to fill out" He told me as he stood up. I nodded as he walked up the stairs.

(Asher's P.O.V)

I felt bad for lying to Klaus but I needed to see her one last time. She agreed to meet me at a local diner. I watched her as she stood outside looking around for me. I approached her and suddenly heard her heart skip a few beats. "Bella" I let her name roll slowly off my tongue. She looked up at me and a few tears fell from her face. I reached up and she flinched. I furrowed my eyebrows as I wiped away her few tears. She looked up at me as I slowly pulled into a kiss. She pulled me close embracing our last kiss. She soon pulled away wiping her final tears away. "Good Bye Arabella" I said before leaving her behind.
