(Asher's P.O.V)
"1...2....3...4...5..6...7...8...9..10" I counted each pull up as I went. I let go of the bar and dropped to the ground. I heard my phone ring as I walked over to it answering. "Hello" I answered. "Please help" is all I heard before the line ended. I heard a knock on my front door so I walked up my stairs and suddenly I heard the person pounding. "I can only walk so fast" I yelled as I finally approached the door. I opened it to see Arabella and she pushed past me walking inside my house. "Could I maybe ask why the hell are you in my house" I said as I looked at her up and down. She was wearing a slick black dress and her hair flowed down her back. She looked so damn gorgeous. I shook those thoughts out of my head as I looked up to see her smirking at me. "I didn't sign the papers" She told me as she dug out of her purse. She pulled them out ripping them right in front of me.
I stood there angrily confused. "You are going to be the death of me" I told her walking up to her pushing her up against the wall. "Don't ever leave me again"
My lips crashed into hers. I wrapped both of her legs around my waist and continued to kiss her. I pulled away as I exhaled deeply. She looked up at me with her pure green eyes. I wanted this so bad but I knew I had to stop. I set her down and she looked at me in shock. "Arabella you disappeared for two years. Care to explain?" I said as I walked over to my bed and sat down on the edge. I crossed my arms as she looked down at her feet and twirled her thumbs. "I-I can't tell you Asher" She mumbled as I saw tears form in her eyes. I stood up and walked over to her lifting her chin. "After almost three years Bella. You still can't tell me the damn truth?" I asked angrily.
She was trying to play with my mind all over again and I can't take it any longer. She looked down at the floor and I saw tears fall to the ground. She stood up and turned away from me pulling her long sleeve shirt slowly off her back. Scars traveled up her spine and her entire upper body. Turned around with just her bra on to show the devils mark on her right rib cage.
I clenched my jaw tightly as I replayed the images of her body in my head. "I-I refused to serve him. I refused to do the terrible things that he tried to force me to do. And I paid the price. He tortured me for years. I knew I couldn't tell you. You would kill him" She said looking up at me.
"You're sure as hell right I would kill him! How could I let this fucking happen?!" I yelled as tears flooded my eyes. My heart shattered in pieces. She was being tortured for years and I never knew. Instead I was feeling sorry for myself and making excuses to day drink.
"Asher I did it to protect you and this family! I don't think you understand the vile and evil things he would have done to this family if he were to get to you. And I couldn't let that happen. I would die for you Asher. I would literally let hell fire burn me alive before if got to you. So don't give me that shit. Now I want you to come here and let me love you" she told me as I quickly walked over to her embracing her with a hard kiss.
Her soft lips pressed against mine as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I pushed her back down on the bed as she flipped us over. She bit her lip studying my body before ripping my shirt off.
I flipped us back over and started kissing all over pushing her arms above her head. "You have no clue what you are about to endure"
