Today is going to be a beautiful day. I mean, it's nine in the morning and the sun is already shining, drying up all the dew that the cold night left behind. Not to mention, I get to see my boyfriend, the blonde-haired football player Jake, today. Jake has the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen and the brightest smile that can light up me whole day. A day or two ago, Jake and I had a conversation. Jake wanted to take me out sometime, so I suggested the movie theater. He seemed edgy with it and wasn't thrilled. "What's wrong?" I asked with a worried tone in my voice. I guessed he heard my tone by the way he replied back, "Well, Corie, most couples go to the movie theater for dates. I just wanted to make it special for you." I looked at him in awe with a smile planted on my face. I couldn't help but give him a big bear hug.
I compromised with Jake. Tonight we are going to the movies, and then we are going to take a walk in Central Park and maybe get a bite to eat. It's going to be romantic at its best! What girl doesn't like romance? At least in her life time, she will love romance.
Its half and hour until Jake picks me up. I just got off the phone with him, and told me to wear something nice but casual. I slip on my casual lace dress, my cowgirl boots, and quickly apply a small amount of skin color make up. My strawberry blonde hair was straightened and went all the way to my shoulders. I grab my purse and a drink for the movie. I hear Jake outside. I yell to my mother to let her know I'm leaving. I walk out the door to see Jake's BMW car he stands on the passenger side of the car, obviously waiting for me to approach him. When I reach Jake he gives me a quick peck on the lips. My sweet, sweet boyfriend opens the door for me. "Thanks," I say while my smile grew and grew until each corner reached my ears.
