~~~~Gaster's POV~~~~
There she stood, the monster who's soul could break the barrier. Too bad no one else knew that, secrets are a terrible burden, an I've had my fair share of them, speaking of sharing I just shared hers.
"And to think you might be hooked up with my son? It's a small world after all, isn't it?" (Y/N) avoided Sans' gaze, knowing she was guilty, but as usual Sans glares at me, with his right eyes flaring with magic, and stood protectively in front of (Y/N).
"Don't mess with her, Gaster, or you're in for a bad time." Sans warned me.
"Oh I'm soo scared." I say back with a void of sarcasm. "But I'm not here to hurt her, I'm here to help, because in doing so, I will free the monster race." I said, trying to get him to listen.
~~~~(Y/N)'s POV~~~~
They were fighting until there was a knock at the door, so you jumped onto the railing since you were on the second floor, and jumped off, softly gliding to the door.
When you opened the door you saw Papyrus, with a new human in a blue jumper with two magneta (pink) stripes across the chest and brown shorts and (once again) brown boots.The child also had short, brown hair and tan skin, and immediately ran over to you as soon as they saw you, grabbing onto your right leg and wrapped themselves around it.
" Hey there, what's your name?" You say sweetly, rubbing the top of their head.
"THEIR NAME IS FRISK, BUT THEY CANT SPEAK..." Papyrus said, then you signed to the *Your name is cute, Frisk, but not as cute as you, come here* you pulled them off your leg and hugged them, and they fell asleep while resting their head on your shoulder. You knew everyone was switching back and forth from you and Gaster, then shrugged not too long after.
You walked over to the staircase, tilting your head slightly at Gaster, and he tilted his head back as he stepped away from the staircase. You walked up the stairs while softly stroking Frisk's hair, and you take them to your room, laying them down on your bed and pulling the sheets over them.
You pulled a nightlight out of your backpack and plugged it in next to the bed, just in case they were scared of the dark, and when you left the room, you left the door cracked open a little bit.
You sighed as you walked out of the room, and everyone stared at you."What?" You asked a little annoyed and curious to why they were staring.
"How are you so good with children?" Gaster piped up, knowing by the expression on Sans' skull that he was wondering the same.
"I used to work at a daycare on the weekends, on the surface, with my parents...." Your smile faltered, and Sans took notice to this and walked over to you, putting his hands on your shoulders, and you looked at him.
"There's no need to bring that up, okay? Don't talk about things your not comfortable with..." He rubbed your arms gently, then walked back over to Gaster.
"So are you staying here or not? I kinda need to know so I know to renovate the house or not." Sans said, speaking to Gaster as if he were nothing to Sans.
"I will just stay in the shed like I have been." Gaster stated creepily, making Sans shiver. "Well I'll be back tomorrow, see ya." He said, giving a small salute before teleporting away.
" SANS, GET TO YOUR POST AT ONCE!! ANOTHER HUMAN MIGHT HAVE FALLEN DOWN AND WE DON'T WANT UNDYNE CAPTURING THEM FIRST!!" Papyrus told Sans, demanding it as if it were still an order.
"Sure thing Paps... Kid, wanna come with me to work?" SANS asked you, you hesitated, wondering if Frisk would wake up when you were gone, but you were sure they'd be fine with Papyrus.
"Alright, wouldn't hurt, and plus, at least there's at least one pair of eyes on the lookout." The shock on Sans' face faded when he realized you were making a joke and started laughing uncontrollably, while Papyrus groaned in annoyance in the background.
~~~~(Timeskip brought to you by puns!!)~~~~
When you and Sans got to his post, you noticed that you it was quite close to the doors to Toriel's home. Sans pulled you into the post, where it was warm. You saw a figure in the distance, and something telling you to come closer, so you did. Sans held your hand and followed after you.
You got closer to the figure, and the human was female, with waist length black, wavy hair. You could also see that she wore black, knee height Converse, black, ripped jeans with chains on both sides, and a Peirce the Veil band t-shirt.
There was only one person in the world with a style like that. Or at least only one person you knew. Letting go of Sans' hand, you slowly walked over to the figure. When you saw her signature fanged smirk and neon glowing green eyes, you knew your suspicion had been confirmed.
You ran over and hugged your vampire soul sister, hugging her tightly as you cried softly into her shoulder. You were so glad she was here, being the only person on the surface who never left your side.
But you had been told she was killed on her last job and that was what made you lose all hope and jump down here in the first place.
"You were always a bit too soft, weren't you?" She chuckled softly as Sans just stood a few yards away, completely and utterly confused.
(A/N sorry I didn't update again yesterday, I was a bit busy drawing the new character in the story, for my sister, since it's her oc, and I'm holding a vote, should I ship PapyTon in the story or not?
