I'll make you whole again

After the teams were sorted, I sat where I was. I had been placed in team seven, consisting of Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto, and Haruno Sakura. We were supposed to wait for our Sensei. Uzumaki and  Haruno were arguing, which was basically a daily basis. Uchiha wouldn't stop looking at me, I didn't find it irritating so long as he didn't touch me or call me 'Yuzu-chan' like a certain annoying bastard. Cough*Hideaki*cough; I sat on Iruka-sensei's desk, swinging my legs I was facing the door, which Uzumaki placed a eraser in between the door and wall so when you opened it, it would fall on the unsuspecting victim. 

"Hey, hey, Yuzu-chan! Why did you come to Konoha?" Uzumaki asked. I faced him, my eyes cold; but he seemed oblivious, Haruno and Uchiha were listening in as well. I shrugged, closing my eyes.

"Dying request of my mother." I said quietly. Their eyes widened and Naruto was struggling to apologize. I looked down at the ground.

"That's the price you have to pay for being a demon." I murmured to myself quietly. 

"Hah? What did you say Yuzu-chan?" Naruto asked. I sighed when Hyaku-bi started talking to me.

'This boy...he reeks of the Kyuu-bi.' My eyes widened and I stared at Naruto. When the door was slid open. The eraser fell on the Jonin's head. I stared at him boredly, 'Copy ninja, Hatake Kakashi eh? I saw him in the bingo book.'  Hyaku-bi snorted,

'That guy doesn't seem as powerful as you.' I glanced at Hatake before he put a hand on his chin and said,

"A bunch of idiots." I jumped off the desk and walked past him, his eyes widened when he saw me but said nothing.

"Let's go to the roof." He said before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

"Alright so why don't you introduce yourselves?" Sensei asked.

"Well what do we say?" Pinky asked. He shrugged.

"Likes, dislikes, dreams for the future stuff like that." He said before pointing at Naruto to start.

"My names Uzumaki Naruto! I like Ramen, and I really liked the ramen that Iruka-sensei got me at the Ichiraku ramen shop, I don't like having to wait the 3 minutes after you pour the water into the ramen. My dream for the future is to become Hokage; so everyone in this village will stop disrespecting me, and start treating me like someone! Someone important! And my hobby is... pranking I guess." Kakashi nodded before he turned to Sakura.

"I'm Haruno Sakura, things I like are, I mean the person I like is..." I drifted off at that point, not realizing it was my turn before Kakashi cleared his throat. I looked up hearing something crack in my neck, I winced and rubbed my now sore neck.

"My name is Himura Yuzuki. My likes and dislikes are none of your business. Hobbies, the same thing. Dreams for the future..." I looked at the sky. "I'm going to kill the person who killed my village." I said quite darkly. Everyone flinched, I stood up.

"I'm going home." I said before walking to the edge of the roof, and stood on the bar.

"We haven't even explained what we'll be doing tomorrow, and what time to get there." Kakashi said, looking at me. I gazed into his visible gray eye. A smile tugging at my lips.

"I know what well be doing, just make sure you're not late like usual or I'll have to kill you." I said jokingly, he chuckled and waved his hand. I smiled when my back was turned to the group. Then disappeared.

I walked through the village, looking at stores. Then I felt a chakra presence following me. I turned around but didn't see anyone, weary I turned and walked at my normal pace. They followed steadily until I walked into the forest. The person still trailing me, I found a clearing and sat down in the middle.

"You can come out now, hiding is useless." I said monotonously. They appeared and it was Uchiha which surprised me.

"What are you doing following me?" I asked not bothering to hide the curiosity from my voice. He walked towards me and sat down beside me, watching the clouds as I did, he turned his head to look at me. I switched my gaze over to him. Tilting my head to the side, a little pink rose onto his face and I smirked. 

"I-I was just coming to p-practice my aim. Wanna watch?" He stammered, he was obviously lying but I didn't say anything. I nodded and he got up. A target was about 10 meters from him, he grabbed his shuriken and threw them, each one hit their mark. He turned to look at me, I smirked lightly. 

"Not bad." I murmured. He raised an eyebrow, "Think you can do better?" He said, teasing. I chuckled and stood up stretching.

"Please, child's play." I said, he smirked and ushered for me to go ahead. I stood calmly taking out 3 kunai and threw them at the targets without looking at them.

His eyebrows rose, I smirked at him.

"Like I said, child's play." I teased. He growled, and tried doing the same. But before he could do anything, a voice broke out from the bushes.

"Aww, Yuzu-chan I'm hurt. You're two-timing me?" I glared at the bushes, I didn't even sense his chakra presence...how? I thought. Hideaki appeared looking less than pleased. Sasuke stood in-front of me protectively.

"You're that guy from earlier, that idiot." Sasuke said, pissed. Hideaki stood there a menacing smirk played on his lips.

"An Uchiha? You don't look like much to me." Hideaki said. Sasuke growled and was about to charge before I grabbed his shoulder holding him back.

"You don't deserve Yuzu-chan, she's beyond you. You piece of trash. Why would she even go out with a jerk like you?" Hideaki taunted, Sasuke trembled with rage. I stepped in front of Hideaki who blinked in surprise, he didn't even see me move. I pushed chakra into my fingertips and flicked Hideaki who went flying across the clearing.

"Don't talk to my teammate with such disrespect. Who do you think you are anyway? You don't treat people like that. And I'm not even together with you, and never will be." I said quietly, but I knew he could hear me.

"That hurt Yuzu-chan, but I wouldn't expect less from an S-class ninja." He said, I stiffened and growled. 

'Yes that's right! Get angry who does this person think he is?! Taunting you like that, release him and I shall take care of him!' Hyaku-bi said, I shook my head. Breathe... I glared at Hideaki who was slowly getting up, wincing. Sasuke looked shocked, he whipped his head at me before I lowered my gaze to the ground, dropping my head.

"Yes, S-class she's been trained in the ways of an assassin, she has a demon in her too! The worst of it is that she just couldn't protect her family! The tragedy...but don't worry." Hideaki said, appearing in-front of me and started to gently stroke my hair. "I'll make you whole again." He whispered into my ear. I shoved him away refusing to cry. I grabbed Sasuke and dragged him out of the clearing.

"W-Wait Yuzuki!" Sasuke said, glancing back to where Hideaki stood, smirking evilly. When we were far enough I dropped Sasuke's hand, and gave a small sob.

"Please...forget everything that happened back there." I said turning my head slightly to look at him. His gaze softened before he pulled me into a gentle hug. I stood there unsure of what to do, I looked up into his eyes, they drew me in and I looked down at the ground. He placed his chin on my head.

"I'll make you whole again..." Sasuke said. I trembled, and hesitantly wrapped my arms around Sasuke. 

"I won't leave you, and I'll protect you." He said determined. I nodded. Knowing he would probably keep his word. Hopefully.
