It was like having a toddler. Prem always found him wherever he went. Texting him when he wasn't present. Wad didn't think there was ever a time he was needed that much. They didn't even talk about anything important. Wad carefully avoided the topic of family and health. Prem did ask him about the nightmares once or twice, but he had brushed him off.
They talked about everything else, movies... video games... football... and even studies. Wad thought Prem wasn't much of a talker, but boy was he wrong. Prem seemed to love everything under the sun except paranormal stuff. Wad suspected maybe that's why he had a 'tough guy' exterior.
Just like he had bragged, Prem was indeed the top student and tutored Wad whenever he needed. That was secretly Wad's favorite time between them. Prem would turn into a completely different person. He was strict and precise and didn't quit until Wad had understood everything. Quite sexy in his opinion!
The flirting had subsided after the flag capturing. Even though there were moments here and there neither of them let it escalate. Wad didn't know where this was heading, but he loved Prem's company. He was the happiest he had been since his grandmother died. He was afraid it was not going to last long. Wad wanted to tell Prem how damaged he was, but he was going to put it off as long as he could. Wad didn't want Prem to leave him. He also knew it was not fair for Prem.
A little more time wouldn't hurt, would it?

Prem was addicted, Wad fascinated him in every way. Wad was quite intelligent and always thought out of the box. His interests were quite out of this world. Wad often spoke about life after death and how human minds worked. Prem had never met anyone like him before, and he wanted more.
No matter how much he tried, Wad carefully avoided the topic about his medication. Even though Prem already knew about Wad's family, he wanted for Wad to tell him all about it. Prem, on the other hand, avoided talking about his own family. He didn't want Wad to be reminded of what he was missing. So he spoke about everything else that interested him. Prem wanted them to be more than friends. But he didn't know where Wad stood on that idea.
Prem knew of the perfect opportunity to find out!

They were at Rayong for the initiation ceremony. Wad didn't want to come at first, but after a little persuasion, he finally agreed. They were having a great time with all the freshman and the hazers. On the second night, Prem sent a text to Wad.
[Come out. I'm outside your room.]
After five minutes Wad walked out of the door and closed it behind him.
"P' Prem! Why are you here? Everyone has gone to bed."
"Let's go for a walk, the weather is nice, and the sea breeze is amazing."
"What if P' Arthit finds out?"
"Arthit is my friend I'll take care of him. Now let's go."
They were walking side by side on the shore silently when Prem broke the silence.
"Don't try to dodge me this time Wad, tell me what's the medication for?"
"P', please let's not talk about this. it's a beautiful night."
"Are you dying?"
"What? No!"
"THEN WHAT IS IT!" Prem shouted.
"It helps me sleep sometimes."
"Helps you sleep? Is it supposed to give you nightmares? What's the point then? Anyway, why do you need help sleeping?"
"I don't know if it's a normal reaction, but I have it prescribed because I have been diagnosed with chronic depression."
"Is that all? That's why you avoided telling me?"
"Yes P', aren't you afraid?"
"Afraid of what? So sometimes you have mood swings big deal. Don't tell me you were afraid I'd run away like a little bitch for something like that!"
Wad looked at the ground and mumbling. "It's more complicated than that."Prem pretended he didn't hear it.
"I saw an old boat over there with the moonlight it looks amazing. Let's go check it out," Prem said instead.
Wad was looking at him suspiciously but seemed relieved the conversation was over.

Prem sat at the edge of the old boat and tapped on his lap motioning Wad to sit on it. Wad looked unsure while Prem smiled encouragingly.
Wad sat on Prem's lap with his legs to the side. Prem put his arms around Wad's waist and snuggled his face into Wad's neck. His lips were hovering just above the skin and Wad could feel him breathing on his neck.
"P' Prem... what are you doing?" Wad asked, his voice shaking.
"Nothing," Prem replied speaking with his lips touching the skin now.
"P' we shouldn't..." Wad's voice was barely audible.
"We aren't doing anything." Prem knew what he was doing to Wad. As he kept speaking to his neck, he felt a shiver run through Wad.
"P' you don't know anything about me!" Wad finally managed to turn away from Prem's lips.
"Way to ruin the moment," Prem said unamused.
"I am not joking P'. You don't know how damaged I am. You don't know what I have been through..."
"What if I told you I know."
"How?"
"Does it matter?"
Wad looked at him in disbelief, after a moment his expression relaxed."I guess it doesn't."
Prem snuggled back, his lips on the nape of Wad's neck.
"Good, because I'm done talking," he rubbed his nose up and down along the neck.
"P' Prem, stop!"
"What now?"
"What are we?" he asked in a whisper full of emotion.
"We can be anything you want us to be Wad."
Wad turned to face Prem and looked him in the eye.
"I want to be yours."
Prem kissed Wad lightly on the lips.
"You most certainly can."

"Wad, do you want to come over to my place over the break? I don't have any plans, and I'm sure my mothers cooking will make you not want to leave."
