darling let's run
not away no
that's tasteless now. too many people running away, dumping everything over their shoulders throwing grief behind themselves like stale exhaust fumes for other people to choke on, the people they left behind, and the people they left behind breathe and breathe and gasp and gulp and gag and grow mutated lungs and hack up black blood but lick their lips anyway because they miss the runners and what they were before they were run away from.
no.
darling let's
run towards certain death.
let's fucking punch the sun, or whatever,
whatever you want to hide from, whatever scares you most,
let's do it together,
go out in a shower of bullets and whatnot.
darling let's do it all and
go out, certainly,
but together.
