this girl isn't searching for her planet, she wants to find a solar system with an empty slot to slide into so she can be its sun.
it's nice knowing at least, lauren, that you are aware of the fallacy of your smile. i'm glad to notice you don't smile anymore.
that's one of the most cruel juvenile killings, isn't it? killing a part of yourself after a moment of hurtful self realisation. i commend you for it, i really do (no i don't, we both know that).

[a/n]: i wrote this at a time when i harboured very strong, but irrational and baseless, feelings for a certain person. i am now sorry for the undeserved malice i felt towards them. additionally this piece is based off my speculation and imagination- while that person was the subject of the poem, i was using a version of them i made up in my head to base it off, as i did not, and do not, know them personally. they did nothing to deserve my hate, and i no longer feel that way towards them, instead hoping they're doing well and are happy.
