Chapter 1: Fading Memories

"So you accept it. Cool dude!" Monsters kid exclaimed.

"Yeah but I quickly declined ." I smiled with glee

"You declined the offer?! " Monster kid said in shock.

I rolled my eyes "What? It's not like the end of the world or something." He ran in front of me and reassured "Dude, that's like the once in a year experience. Don't you want to be at the scouts. You use to told us that you want to do scouting things. What's the matter?"

Monster kid is one of my best buddies here. He may be rude but always tend to stay positive and a trusty friend , he's also like Undyne, stubborn but stupid but even if he's like that, his heart is on the right place.

I look around us. I whispered " I'm not sure if you know about this but ... dad and the other monsters decided to have an anti-terrorist organization they've been planning . M.K , they choose me as one of the future elite squads if I could strengthen my power and train alot. Then my tone gave a hint of distress  "Which I have a feeling it will be a brutal training since it's Sans who's gonna be my instructor."

Monster kid looked at me "Seriously? Sans? You've gotta be kidding me. That dude is always lazy. Though I do see him help his brother to kill a nasty innocent monster. Why him? Undyne is pretty good and can help you with no time, you could be an elite already in a month or maybe a day!"

"You believe to much in her don't you?"

He ignored me and continued "Papyrus is also like Sans but gives you horrible inspiration quotes. I've also heard that Sans hated you right now. So welcome to the darkness!"

"I know right! The last person I wanted to train with was with Sans. He hated me and sure to make fun of me while I'm suffering in utter hell . " I complained.

Monster Kid shrugged "Sorry to hear about that bro. He is your worst nightmare knowing how powerful he is."

I gave him a weak smile but my gut is frowning  " It's no problem for me. No matter how difficult it is, I will continue my training to be one of the elite squad . So I could avenge on what they've did to her."

Monster Kid respond "To be honest, I've heard about the organization. Papyrus talked to my dad last week ago and asked him to be one of the instructors of the monsters . My dad may have no arms but he has good reflexes. To think about it, I want to join the community and be one of the soldiers. I also wanted to avenge her death. " he looked at me. "And we're both gonna kill those bastards together, kay?"

I laughed "Yeah! Together!" And we both head butt each other. I looked at my watch and saw the time. It's already 2:56. "Speaking of the devil, gotta go! Can't be late in the first day of training. See ya dude." I waved and ran towards Undyne and Alphys ' backyard. Sans picked this place for the training because this is quite 2x bigger than a normal backyard.

When I got there ,I saw Undyne, next to her was a sleeping Sans . Undyne nudged him and he woke up . "Good thing you're not late kiddo, just in time. " Undyne scratched her head , looking at our surroundings, she added "I hope this backyard is enough for the training. The training area is still under construction so you have to wait a little longer. Kay?"

"Nah It looks fine to me. We don't need a big space, this will do . You could go now Undyne . Thanks for the place. Now get out." Sans says yawning and kicking her out.

"Have fun" she advised that it's probably not gonna help.

He turned to me with his 'I'm gonna kick your ass' face while I gave him my sour expression. He suddenly manage to smile which took me by surprise . "Look pal I'm sorry about the things that happened back then. I'm just really pissed off when we found out she died because of you" He still blames me even when forgiveness.Talk about a cruel joke." She was one of the person who changed my life, our lives actually. I'm sure wherever she is right now, she is not happy about my attitude and actions. And this won't help the situation.So I hope we can start over again and be friends?" He raised his hand. He was asking for a hand shake. I hesitated, but he was right ,if we keep hating each other, nothing will end up nicely. So raise my hand and gave him a handshake of truce .
