Outside the barred window, the sky was thick with glistening stars. The moon it's first quarter rose slowly, casting a prism of light across the dark sky. The whole street glowed golden amber. Ghostly silence had spread through out the room . The distant shrieks of children playing outside or the clock ticking every second did nothing to remove her loneliness. Elsa felt numb. Another nightmare, another bygone kept her waking. It suffocated every inch of her existence until it was hard for her to breath. With trembling body, she knew she needed to find a way out of this miserable life. Domitri Giavion, the name itself sent shivers down her spine, a feeling of fear and safeguard at the same time. Shoving down the trepidation in the depths of her heart, she prayed for things to go the way she wanted to.
Waking up the morning, hurriedly Elsa wore a formal yet a very elegant attire. With light makeup and a lower neck bun, she was ready to head off. As she approached the Intact Industries, she a vortex of dread had enveloped her. She could not afford to lose this, thus she forced herself to amble towards the building. The skyscraper stood proudly with brilliant metalwork on it. As she headed in, she was utterly impressed by the interior designing and was left in an awe. 'Are you here for the interview Ms?' A high pitched voice brought her back from her daze. 'Um,No, actually I have a business meeting with Mr.Giavinno, I'm Elsa Rose'. With quick directions to the office, Elsa walked towards office. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door. 'Come in' A thick Italian accented voice sent shivers down her spine. As she opened the door, Elsa was stunned to see the man sitting beside the desk. His tan muscular body was well hidden under the suit, his sharp jaw line and thick long lashes left her in an awe. His messy dark brown hair itched her fingers to run through them. Sexy would have been an understatement to describe this man. Never had she ever felt this attracted to any man and she knew she was already in deep trouble. As Elsa met his eyes, she felt lost in his deep blue eyes hurling like an ocean. The man raised his eyebrows and her eyes followed the movement. 'Ms Rose, I hope you do realise I don't have all day', the smooth voice traced with irritation brought Elsa back to the reality. She strode forward and sat on the leathery chair. 'I have a proposition for you Mr.Giavino', Elsa spoke meeting his gaze. 'And what that might be Ms. Rose'? His eyebrows rose in curiosity but his face remained masked and blank. 'Marry me Domitrio'.
