The origins of Cell-Phone Novels lie in the Land of the Rising Sun. Therefore, many CPN authors are Japanese and use Hiragana, Katakana and/or Kanji for their works. Soon, CPNs have spread to English-speaking countries and, thanks to the popularity of anime and manga, many English-speaking authors tend to use Japanese (sub)titles as well.
This brings the question: even if you're not Japanese and when you're thinking about a title for your CPN, would you prefer to write it in Japanese (or use a Japanese subtitle) or stick with English?
