This is the testimony of Simon J. Hart; age 18, former high school student, and death row inmate sentenced to life for the murder of Jenny Piper and the entire town of Ghast.
It's been almost a year now since I've seen the light... I wanted my dark cell back... This world of light is filled with more evil than my tiny cell.
The judge calls me to the stand, I go to it and take my seat, the badge wearer approaches me with his book of this God they all speak of. I place my hand on it and I repeat what is said to me then, I look at the judge he glares at me. I smile at him and greet him with a; "How do you do?" I turn away and speak into the microphone.
"I am Simon J. Hart, the events that I saw happen on that day did take place, however, I am not a murderer. If you all will listen I will tell you what I saw happen."
