Jughead It was the end of school and I was walking past the music room, most of the students were gone now and it was pretty much just me
As I was walking my way past I saw miss Grundy with someone, getting pretty close to them
I retraced my steps and looked through the little window in the door and saw archie and Miss Grundy kissing
My breath caught in my throats and I quickly made my way out of the school, not being able to watch that much longer
I wasn't sure why I got so upset about them kissing, it wasn't that she was a teacher but something else was bothering me
For years I always thought I might have liked archie but I always ignored it because I couldn't believe it and obviously Archie's straight
I sighed and made my way to Archie's house, I decided that I'll just confront him about it
Archie I was walking back home to my house after being with Miss Grundy when I noticed someone sitting on my steps, I raised an eyebrow and walked a little bit faster wanting to know who the person was
When I reached my house I realized it was Jughead sitting there, when he saw me he got up and walked over towards me
"Uh hey jughead"
"I know what's going on with you now" jughead said, making me more confused then I already was
"What are you talking about?"
"I know about you and Miss Grundy" he said
My whole body froze "jughead, you can't tell anyone" I said walking closer to him so our faces were just inches apart
"You can't do this archie, it's not good. She's messing with your head archie!" He said talking a step back
"You can't say that jughead, you know nothing!" I said talking another step forward
"No but I used to know this boy named Archie Andrews, he wasn't perfect but he at least tried to do the right thing"
I looked down at the ground
"What do you even see with her, huh? Do you see a future with her" he asked
"No" I replied in a whisper "I don't" I said as a tear fell down my face
Jughead Jughead looked surprised, he didn't expect Archie to cry about it
"Archie, im sorry" I mumbled putting a finger under his chin and lifting it up for him to look at me
He had silent tears running down his face, so I pulled him into a hug, still surprised about his sudden outburst, out of all the years of knowing archie he wasn't one to show his feelings so I of course didn't expect him to start crying
"It's okay" I said rubbing his back as he cried into my shoulder, if there was one thing I was bad at, it would probably be comforting people, I never knew what to do
We stood in front of Archie's house, me rocking him back and foot to stop his crying
"Hey, buddy you okay now?" I asked pulling away from him
"Yeah thanks" he said looking at me with puffy eyes, we walked to his porch and sat down
"I always knew there wouldn't be a future with her but the real person I like, I'm pretty sure doesn't like me back and Miss Grundy got my mind off of them"
"Who is it?" I asked curiously
" I can't tell you, you'll hate me" he mumbled
"We might not be good friends anymore but I wouldn't hate you"
"Thanks jug, I just don't think I can tell you"
"It's fine archie, I should really get going anyways" I said flashing him a quick smile
