This event happened fall of last year 2016; during this time I was going through a hard time so I would go for walks to clear my head and calm myself down. It was early October around eight thirty and I set off outside for my walk. I live in a tiny town that holds exactly 127 people, it consists of one bar, a post office, a cemetery, a ball park and playground, around 100 houses and five churches. My favorite spots were the cemetery and the play ground. The graveyard is closest to my house so I go there first. After about an hour of drawing the things around me I decide to walk down to the playground and Stay there till ten. As I walked down a hill that leads from the cemetery to the park I hear a repetitive knocking noise, getting closer I can clearly hear a list of three knocks a pause and continued. A figure came into view, the street being dimly light by the flickering light of a street lamp knocked on the door of the house behind the park, I call out to it. "That's a summer home, the owners left last month." The figure dropped it's hand and turned around staring at me through a Shadow. We stayed like that for five minutes till it walked towards me, through its stride I could tell it was a teenage boy, around 5"7 and aged between 14 and 17. He stopped uncomfortably close in front of me, looking down at me. I'm 5"1 in shoes so I have to look up at him, though I could only see to the tip of his nose the rest of shadowed off since he was facing the dying street light. He spoke clearly and assertively telling me to take him to my house, at his is was obviously off put, rudely saying no and what the hell for. I crossed my arms and stood straight showing I meant no. He softened and relaxed himself, he then spoke calmer and more freely, "my apologies that must of sounded rude, you see; I'm a runaway. I need help, please take me to your house." He was smiling a surprising gorgeous smile waited for my response, I could of believed his story if he wasn't so clean. He had the get up but no runaway looked so high end. He had a nice black hoodie with the hood pull up over his face, hence why I couldn't see above his nose; blue jeans with no holes or scuffs, no patches of dirt or even grass stains and wore black boots which even in the dim light we're shiny. I just turned on my heels and walked into the park to the swings, when I turned around to sit there he was standing yet again uncomfortably close to me. I sat down and told him to fuck off, to this he just smiled at me then pulled off his hood. Staring back at was were big black eyes. I stopped moving all together and perked up caught in his glare, "will you please take me to your home, I need help" it felt like he was forcing himself into my mind clouding my thoughts and making me believe I should help him but I blinked and said "what are you?" He looked surprised at my question and just turned to leave but I couldn't let him go, I had to know what he was. He obviously wasn't human, he was too perfect to be human. His skin was pale hinting blue, he had high cheek bones and a soft but sharp jaw line, he had no scars or blemishes just haunting black eyes with a perfect smile. I grabbed his arm and he jumped slightly but turned and smiled hooking my arm in his walking me towards the cemetery, he was cold and stiff and smelled of the forest. He sat down in a patch of clearing where no graves were and gestured for me to sit with him, so I did. He stared for a moment and began to speak, "I am not what you think I am, I am not a demon or a extra terrestrial being, I am more of a... Corpse." My face was twisted in disgust and confusion, I nodded for him to continue; "I was supposed to bring someone back with me but the house I chose was empty as you had informed me, so I thought perhaps I could take you though we're not supposed to take children. I have many different stories but your eyes read a compassion for those who struggle hence why I chose the runaway. Though you said no and I couldn't let myself into your mind to control you."

"Why are you supposed to take someone?" "That's what we're for." "That doesn't answer my question." "It answers mine." "Fine. Continue."

"Splendid. We take form of children because empty minded adults wouldn't say no to a helpless child in need, we are what people call mysteries and folk lure. They are afraid of us because we are unknown and that's what we're going to stay, unknown. I'm telling you this because you are the only who had asked me a question and instead of running away you grabbed me."
He reached forward and placed his hand atop of my mine, "you are peculiar." After he said that there was a long and deep whistle that cut into a shape high pitched sound, we turned towards the noise and saw a group of children all ranging in gender and age, he helped me up bringing my hand to his lips and softly kissing it, he drew himself close again this time whispering in my ear "perhaps I will see you again, hopefully not. The world needs someone alive and peculiar as you. Maybe I will come back to continue our conversation." With that he kissed my cheek the walked off towards the group of children and disappeared into the forest behind the cemetery. After this it was almost eleven so I ran home where my parents were in  hysterics, they yelled at me then sent me to bed.
There is more detail to the story that I can't exactly remember at the moment so I'll probably add on as the memory comes back to me. I know that it could of been a joke between a bunch of friends but it felt so real. He was too Cold and too perfect to be real, and his eyes were pure black with no white showing at all. I thought id share this with everyone and see what you all think
