***10 years later***

"Baby you light up my world like nobody else the way that you flip your ha-" 

Stupid alarm clock. The day is finally here, the day I've been dreading all the time I've known about this. Four o'clock in the morning is way too early for me to get up. But I have to. I stepped out of bed onto my purple carpet, that im definatly going to miss. I hopped into the shower and just washed my hair really quickly, with some old gross throw away shampoo and conditioner. I couldnt put any hair products in it because its already in the Uhaul truck on its way to Orange County, California. While drying my hair I realized all the things im going to miss about Ohio, My bestfriends Jamie, Paige, Taylor, and Ryder, my guy best friend. Theres a slight chance I might also miss my ex boyfriend from a week ago. He told me long distance wont work and he wants someone to be able to hold. I mean, I dont blame him, he was an ass anyways...There will be cuter guys in cali, besides im only 16 i can have more fun!

"Kaily you better be out of that bed!" I heard my mom shout. I just threw a sock at my door to clarify that I most certainly am awake at half past four in the morning. I put my hair in a messy, damp bun. My hair was long, almost touching my butt, and light brown with caramel highlights. To be honest, my hairs the only thing I like about myself, it basically does everything and I love it. I am 5'3 and I was pretty slim, i didnt have much fat you can pull on, you can practically see little abs coming in on my slight tanned stomach! I also have bright blue eyes with tints of green and surprisingly white in them. I like my eyes too...I had no idea what to wear to an airport because i have never gone on an airplane, but im not too scared. I decided to put on my dark blue comfy hollister shorts and wear a white and gray shirt thats has a tight waistband, but is baggy at the top. All i wore for makeup was a little mascara. And by the time i was finished, it was time to leave. I grabbed my flourescent pink victorias secret bag and my old  stuffed bear and I made my way to the kitchen.

   I didn't say much to my mom while we quickly ate. Our flight leaves at 6:30, and its 5:00 so we have to leave. "Kaily you know this isn't my desicion, my boss is half forcing me, the thing i dont want to end up doing is not going to be able to be around the house, i wont be, infact. I work from 8 AM to 9PM, and I only have sundays off, and holidays. It's going to be hard on us, but with your dad gone, I..I know we''ll pull through somehow and i need your help around the house"  She said this with complete sincirety, like she really meant it. "Ok, I will help you, and I know its not your fault, its okay thought because ill get to meet new people in cali, there are cuter boys" I said with a laughing wink "Now lets go so we don't miss our flight."

~~~~~~~~ Finally in their house in California~~~~~~  

Its alot hotter here than i expected, luckily I own alot of summer clothes, Im not really a winter person. Well, our house is huge, and nice, and we didnt even have to pay for it. As soon as you step outside, it's a pool deck with a big hot tub in the corner, then step 20 more feet and its a huge heated swimming pool, and a shack with huge speakers for playing music and holding snacks and drinks. A few more feet is a not so steep hill, covered in beach grass, except for one path, a patch of perfectly whited sand that leads down to an even more beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Maybe i was caught in the moment but i thought I saw dolphins. I decided to look at the house itself, so i went inside the sliding glass door that leads into the kitchen with an island, and a great sized cooking area to the left. And to the right was a deep cherry colored table that went good with the tan colored walls. If you walk a little further, theres the door the the basement/lounge, to the left of that was a staircase, and to the right of all that was the huge living room, with a huge plasma screen tv! Now i was going to go see my room, I ran up the stairs and i looked into the one closest to the ocean, my mom told me to pick the room I like the most, and me and this room basically just clicked. When you walk in there is a huge walk in closet to the right, and then next to that was my own bathroom! I walked into the room more and on the wall closest to the ocean, was a huge picture window, with the perfect view of my yard and the blue waters. I was in love with this room. It had baby blue walls and already came furnished, it had a queen sized bed with the bars that lace hangs from, and they were all white and everything contrasted perfectly. I brought up some of my clothes and started to unpack a little into my white dresser and walk in closet just to get everything done so i dont have to work, ill spend more time unpacking just so that I dont have to help her with the kitchen and decorations. She has a few days to do this before she has to go to work.
