Some things were just meant to happen...
As I sit on this bridge, with my best friend next to me, and our legs hanging off ,inches from the summer kissed, alge filled water, I have come to complete realization, that I, Kaily Rose Hall, had a crush, on my neighbor, Sam Pottoff. Even though I am young, Seven years of age to be exact, I knew how much I really liked being around Sam, even though we get into tiny fights, we still love eachother, though we don't even know it yet.
Sam jumped off of the bridge, into the shallow stream that cuts through both of our backyards in Dublin, Ohio. The slightly warm water splashed onto my legs, he didn't say anything, just flashed me a cute little smile. It made me sad to know this day might be the last ill ever get to see him. Tomorrow, Sam is moving all the way out to California, because his dad found a job that he "just couldnt pass up." I just sat there, watching him as he looked under rocks for crawfish, newts, and even waterbugs. It made me flashback to last year when he found a crawfish, it latched onto his finger and he screamed and cried, I just laughed at him. But it actually really hurt his finger, thats why he has a little dent in it. Im going to miss his little dent...
