"Phil! Quickly come down here!" A sweet voice squealed between laughs. Phil Lester came running down the stairs to find his 10 months old daughter sitting in a highchair with yellow and red frosting smudged all over her face. The room filled with laughter and Phil wiped some frosting off with his finger and enjoyed himself.
"Hey!" Julia says between laughs,"You quit that! Bought finished the whole container, I could barely frost the one cupcake!"
"I'm sorry! I just can't control it. Something inside me says Phil... you must have the frosting!"
"Ha! Of course it does," Julia wraps an arm around Phil as she continues to watch the infant smash and squeeze the cupcake and frosting between its fingers and rub them all over her face.
"Hey, Jules? Has anything come in the post from Dan by any chance?" Asks Phil with a suddenly serious voice.
"No, don't think so. Dear, don't you think... maybe he just..." but the look in Phil's eyes told her to not continue. Dan was Phil's best friend for a very long time. She new regardless of their fight that made Dan leave, Phil was always one to forgive.
"I just know eventually if I don't stop trying he MUST respond some how." Phil looked very sorrowful, but Julia was very good at cheering Phil up.
"Well... has he seen any photos of Susanna yet? I'm sure he'd love to see her! Let's look through our album and see what we have to send!"
Phil was suddenly filled with hope, clearly shown by the grin stretched across his face and the light in his striking blue eyes.  Phil and Julia spent the afternoon cleaning up after baby Susanna and putting her down for a nap. When things were finally all cleaned up, they retrieved their photo album and began skimming the pages.
"Oh Phil, this one is her right after she is born!" Julia extends a photo of her in the hospital room with newborn Susanna over her shoulder. "We must send him that one, don't you think?"
Looking through more photos they came across one that made them laugh of Susanna with spaghetti sauce smeared on her face. Another one had Phil sleeping across a couch with the baby sleeping across his chest.
"I didn't know about this one, Julia! Since when do you take photos of me in my sleep?" Phil exclaimed causing another loud burst of laughter. Susanna's crying echoed down the hallways
"Oh, we were too loud! I'll go get her, you gather the photos and prepare them to be mailed." Julia rushed out of the room and soon after, the crying stopped. Phil looked over and saw an old Polaroid camera sitting in the corner of the room. He picked it up and took a photo of himself, nearly blinding his eyes.
Phil remembered the time Dan almost blinded himself with his deodorant as he waited for the photo to clear up. He drew a smily face in the corner 'Hopefully he'l know I'm thinking of him.' He grabbed the four photos and closed them up in a small envelope, ready to be sent.
