Chapter 6 "The sea of black"

I lay in a sea of black. Although I can't see anything, I know I'm not alone. The water sways around me, I feel it brush again my hands, and kiss my cheek. I hold my breath. I have a pretty good record of 5 minutes without air, people call it unnatural, but living in district 4 it really helps out. District 4.

Why am I not in district 4?

I attempt to sit up, but something stops me. I lift me arm, satisfied I could at at least, do that.

That's when I see a glowing orb shape in front of me. It portrays a beautiful girl, with flowing red hair. She has

freckles all over her face.

And one large one on the side of her neck

I check, and sure enough, its there.

Annie, Annie Cresta.

Annie O'dair

She raises a knife to her heart.

"NO!" I scream, but the water silences me. Its as if I can scream, but I can't be heard. I can cry, but no tears will fall.

I take a deep breath.

Wait WHAT?!

I try it again. Sure enough, I get a breath, I breath in, I breath out. Inhale, Exhale, Inhale, Exhale.

NO you can't be breathing, your underwater. Says the reasonable part of me.

I try it again. No I'm not drowning. So this isn't water? My curly hair is flowing around my head, and that doesn't happen on land. So it must be Some kind of liquid.

"Hello? Any dangerous sea monsters trying to kill me?" Again I could talk, but no sound heard. "No? OK good."

So I sat like that. well more like lay there, I was tied to something.

I reached behind my back feeling around. No rope, in fact I wasn't even laying Mon anything, I was floating. I felt around my stomach once more, and behind me. Nothing.

I tried to sit up again, this time electricity zapped me, and spread through my body.

I'm under water! Not cool man.

The water, enhanced the pain. Electricity seems to feed on water, so the whole thing seemed like I was on fire.

Girl on fire.

Katniss.

Annie.

Peeta.

I smiled sadly. Mags.

Where's my friends?

"Hello, Finnick." A low, unnatural husky voice said.
