She breathed in and i breathed out.

I lied to hear her laugh.

The ties that bind did not restrian,

Rather kept hold of all in vain.

She was the night sky with dark skin and choclate eyes.

Ebony hair and eyes of ethereal; she spoke clear, confident, not concided.

A blue rose in the spotlight amongst thorns, the shadows wrapped her in ribbon and bows, so we begin.

Where she was the velvet midnight i was the pale moon. Casting dancing shadows of mischief and memories i spoke.

My pale complection standing out in the darkness, an unmistakable contrast.

Crateres decorated my body i sulked in dispair at her smooth surface, for she was simply air.

Dancing effortlessly, waitless, she glided across the sky. I stood still as the solar system twirled around me.

Her voice a strong wind headed north, my thoughts became inaudible.

Faces looked up and became waitless, turning to me minds reminded them that they were grounded.

My light shined bright, tore a hole in the blanket of pitch black.

Crying out she faded away as sunrise came.

Into oblivion but not forgotten, as though the sky was not a physical thing.

Nothing but memories remain and the stories to be told.

As her petals drift to the floor and become still they cast shade reminding me of her and that i

Im nothing but the man in the moon that misses his friend night.
