The king jump into the horse and ride away. He can't let anything happen to her.

"Princess" King John with his horse walking inside the palace

She was outside at the garden.

"What is it?" She said with not-so-friendly tone.

"Don't ever come out." He said

"Why?" She asked still don't want to look up.

"Just don't. Listen to me, there is someone who will kill you" he said

"I don't believe it. I do nothing wrong" she said

"Here, I know I kicked you out but you just have to listen" he said

"Non sense" she said, a bit angry.

"JUST LISTEN TO ME" he yelled.

His loud voice causes the King and Queen come downstair

"What is it again King John?" King henry said.

"She's in danger" he said.

"Why?" Said the queen

"Someone wants to kill her" King John said.

"Nonsense" said King Henry

"I swear," he said.

"Okay then, we are going to a kingdom party" said king henry seems won't notice.

"How about her?" King john yelled.

"Ugh, you should protect her while me and My wife going out for a kingdom party"

"It will take 3 days" said king henry.

"Okay" he nodded

"Have a save trip" said the princess hugging her parents.

Princess just looking down. She's afraid of getting heart broken again. She don't know why, she feels like its so hard to look in his eyes.

They leave the castle, there's only the King and his wife.

"I'll show you Our room here" she said, take him to their room.

"Good." He said.

"Okay, now tell me what happen" she said

"You see all the guards in front of ny castle?" He pointed to the balcony where she can see his palace clearly.

"What happen?" She asked.

"King Curtis, is the one whom family killed mine a long time ago" said the King

"That man again" princess mumble.

"He want to kill you" He said again

"Why me?" Princess said.

"Because you're the most precious thing" said King john so softly, almost like mumbling.

"what do you mean?" She said

"Forget it. Now get to bed." Said the King close all the window and the door.

"It will keep us save" said the King lay beside her.

"Cold" she said.

"I know" said king john.

"Where are the other blanket?" King John asked.

"Its being washed and wasn't dried yet" said the princess.

"So, it's the only blanket?" He asked

"Yes.." She nodded

"It's so cold don't you feel?" He asked

"Very coo-l-dd--" she said hugging her night gown. She shudder.

"Come closer" he said

"Why" she asked

"Just come closer" he said.

"Come on, I'm not gonna bite you" he said, pull her hand.

He put his hand around her waist, and let her do the same thing.

"Why did you hug me?" She asked.

"I will keep you warm" he said

"I mean, we keep each other warm" said king john

"It's really warm" she said, hug tighter.

"Now close your eyes, just find your most comfortable position" he said

Princess lean on his shoulder, that was really really warm. Like the warmest thing she has ever feel.

"I am" she said.

"Sstt.. Now sleep" he said.

"You really think it's okay? Because when I'm asleep I will be so hard to wake up" she said

"Of course" he pull her for a tighter hug.

He actually sniffing at her hair.

She take a deep breath and play with his hair too.

"King?" She asked

"Hmmm.." He said with sleepy voice

"Can your legs hug mine? My feet is frozen" she said

He put his leg over her.

"Your feet is really cold" he said in a sleepy voice.

"That's why" she said still playing with his hair.

She look at his back, remember how he suffer from being tortured for what he never done.

"King" said the princess.

"Your back" she mumble

"Why" he replied

"No.. Hmm.. Uhm.. Just saying" she said. The image of founding him bleeding is scary enough,

Her tears falls.

"Are you crying?" He ask all of a sudden

"Sorry, I made your shirt wet" she said.

He pull her off the hug and stare at her

"What is it? It's almost midnight" he said

"Tsk-tsk- look at me"

"What is it?" He said.

"I just wanna asked if your back alright" she sobbed.

"It's alright, all healed" he said smile.

Oh that smile make her tears falls more.

"here you can take a look" he said take off his shirt.

"Omg, that's a lot of scars" she said

"Oh my" she mumbled

She placed her hand on his scars.

"How bad they tortured you?" She asked

"Hmm.. They using nail whip" he said

"That must be hurts so much" she said

"Yes, where have you been that day?" He said

"To my friend's place, I knew I was stupid and..,"

"In the middle of the night?"

"Hmm.." He nodded

"Oh I'm sorry!!" She hugged him from behind, buried her face in his back.

"It's already passed, you should say sorry a long time before" he said.

The princess still hugged him.

"You should tell me if you want to go anywhere" he said smiling and stroke her hand.

"Look at me" he said

"It's alright" he said wipe her tears off.

"Now let's sleep, tomorrow we have another things to do" he said

"Okay" she release her hug. The king put his shirt on, place his hand around her waist, and fall asleep.
