First, before I even start to write, I must ask that you keep an open mind and go easy on me as this is the first fanfiction that I will write. It's also a test of my writing skills so if you do see something I can improve on, say something. I hope you like the Prologue and read the first chapter when you see it up. So have a good time reading!

*Beep!* *Beep!* *Beep!* "Urgh..." Looking at my phone, I see it say 6:00 AM. "Another day on the grind, huh," I say sitting up in my bed, looking at the dark. "Who In the hell made the decision to make school so early in the morning?" I think. "Well, complaining won't do nothin' about it so..." I think to myself.

Dragging myself out of my bed I go and take a hot shower and get dressed. When I'm done I go to the dining room, which just happens to be the farther side of the living room. Sitting at the table, my grandma brings me some breakfast.

" What you doin' up so early granny?" I say.

" Well, I thought that you might want some good breakfast this morning' instead of cereal so I made this."

"well, thank you, granny. Though you know you didn't have to." I say eating the over-easy eggs, bacon, and toast. Classic American breakfast if I do say so myself. So I dig in, eating fast but still tasting it.

After, I go wash my dish out and go back to the bathroom to brush my teeth before getting my bag and shoes on. By the time I'm done, I make it outside and run to my bus stop with a few minutes to spare. So I stand and pull out my phone and listen to one of my favorite songs, Always By Killswitch Engage.

When my bus gets there I get on and sit in my seat that's been the same for 4 years now. It's not long before I get to school and go inside and straight to the cafeteria to eat some more food, because I spend too much energy until lunch hits. I sit down and eat by myself, for now, I get to school early and none of my friends are as early as me.

The cafeteria and school itself aren't big but not small either. It has round tables and square tables with normal chairs that just scream " Hey, You're not in middle school anymore!" When I'm done there, I head straight down the hall to the front of the school and to the library. funny enough, all the cliques of people tend to stick to this main hallway. You have your normal popular group with your jocks and smart people but it's the 21st century people.

It's not as bad as it used to be and I often drift from one group to the next, looking for gossip and important things I might want to know that others do. You can call me an information broker if you will. I normally know about everything that's going on in two ways. One being people talking two loud and two being to the public with it. I would hear more rumors than truth though.

Like this one about an anime convention that just opened and needed work, but rumors about it being haunted always came up. It had been going on for the last week and a half since it had finished being built and many people have gone there to take the job, but moved away or disappeared thereafter. It struck me and my friends as strange, but people disappeared all the time, but never in the same place more than once over a span of a month.

I did some background checking as I usually do with these things and found that there were about a few other places that had the same name, and similar things happened there. They had shut down more than once and had more than one crime investigation over things like murder and disappearances. No murder has happened yet, but who knows cause I sure as hell don't.

That being said, me and my friends have been there and it's a pretty cool place. That is if you're a pervert that's into furry Chuck E Cheese characters that look like they were made by the people that invented clickbait. Still, I love anime and games, and they have a hell of a lot of it there. It quickly became a big place to hang out in the city.
