It's Monday now, eight in the morning. I and James are at the local general store that very cheap to buy snacks and energy drinks we might need. The Dollar Tree, one dollar everything that gets us many drinks that would cost more elsewhere.

"James, you get what you need yet?" I ask him from down the aisle.

"Yup, just needed some more beef jerky and coke. You get what you need?" He asks.

"Got more drinks, batteries for the controllers, and more chips and dip than we could need for the night," I say.

"Right. Let's get this back to your place and get to this interview. Hopefully, it goes like we think it should." James says while paying for his items at the checkout.

"We have a backup instead, so don't worry too much. We just need to keep on our toes and ears open and we should get through it just fine. At least we're not looking for ghost again or creepypastas." I say while earning a groan of irritation from James.

"We agreed to never speak of that again, remember?" James asks in mock irritation.

"Yeah, by the way, you did tell Ruby you'll be at work tonight...Right?" I ask.

"Yeah, she knows and wanted to go but I told her about the whole two people only rule. She wasn't happy but hey, at least she didn't try and beg with that cute face of hers again." James responds with a smile. I just laugh with a smile while paying for my items at the checkout.

"You were always a sucker for a cute girl with weapon obsessions," I say, patting him on the back.

"You know it!" He says with a smile.

We soon get to my house and put all the stuff in the refrigerator and pack the games and ammo in bags, ready to go to our job with formal but casual formal clothes. Nothing that would put off people but put them at ease with our look. I had my gray long sleeve jacket with matching jeans that would come off as silver because of the material it was made with. I just had some normal white Nikes I never wear so I put them on.

James had his blue jeans and a Metallica shirt with his green duster and green boots. It wasn't a hot day but James decided to wear that long duster of his and me with my light jacket. Once we had all we needed, we got our backpacks on and had one of my family members drive us to the place. It was my Uncle Sun, a good old man and respected in my community. Dropped us off in front of the place and we headed inside.

By the door was Balloon Babe, as always. "Hello! Want a balloon mister?" the little robot asked me.

"Nope, you already know I never like taking free stuff. We've been over this what, a thousand times now?" I say. She goes to say something again before James cuts her off.

"Where is the manager, we have an interview here for the night position," James asks with a gruff voice.

"Oh, well he's in the back. I'll take you to him," she says with a blank voice.

I and James share a glance before following her through the main floor to the manager's office. She knocks on the door and a voice comes from the other side. "Come in!" says a European voice. Balloon Babe opens the door and we are greeted by a ginger-haired 30-year-old looking man filling out paperwork.

"Hello Balloon Babe, what do you need?" He asks.

"These two people say they're here for the night position," she says.

"Ah! Mr.McLane and Mr.Stephenson. Nice to make your acquaintance. My name is Marisu Jerith, but just call me Marisu. I understand you're here for the interview and the night job, may I ask why?" he asks.
