It took me around a hour in a half to get back home from the clearing.

Though to be fair. I was tree hopping, and I was going pretty fast too. I personally find tree hopping is a much faster method of transportation when it comes to getting from place to place. The reason why I'm tree hopping is cause the usual time it takes to walk to the clearing on foot is around 5-6 hours. And I wanted to get home before it got too dark out.

Anyway, finally getting home I walked up to the lock panel on the gate. I leaned down a little and pulled back my hood a little, so that the scanner could scan my eye. After it finished scanning my eye for around 5 seconds, I pulled my hood back into place. Then after hearing the soft click of the first lock unlocking, I put my thumb on the scanner for around the same amount of time as before. Which was then followed by another soft click of the second lock unlocking. I then placed my entire hand on the scanner for another 5 seconds. Which was then followed by a soft click of the third and final lock unlocking.

After the third and final lock emitted that soft click. I opened the gate and walked in.

Walking in, I felt my smirk from earlier turn into a small smile as I looked around, and took in a deep breath of air.

"Man it feels good to be home after such an eventful day." I said with a sigh, while walking through the large courtyard, down the main path way, to the double front doors of my home.

While walking towards the double front doors of my home I heard the gate softly thud closed, and the three locks softly clicking back into place behind me. Getting to the doors I did the same thing as I did at the gate except I did two extra things. The first thing was that I had to say something in my families native tongue for the voice scanner. Then I had to hum the first few notes of a song that's been passed through my family for generations upon generations. After doing the five things I mentioned the doors unlocked with five individual soft clicks.

I opened the doors and walked inside. Closing the doors with a soft thud, followed by the soft clicks from the five locks behind me.

Also I don't think I mentioned this but my home, well mansion, is sort of close to the center of slender woods. But it's about a 4-5 hour walk North East of here on foot. And also that there is no electricity in my home. It's all powered by a single drop of my blood. Interesting right?

Anyway. Walking in, I headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. I wasn't really all that hungry; even after all of that physical activity. And I actually don't eat that much, or that often for that matter. Oh and before you think I'm anorexic, I'm not. In truth, it isn't necessary for me to eat or drink in order to survive, I just do it for the flavors and stuff.

Infact my body functions differently than a regular humans' does. In truth, I'm not really a human at all. I look human, but I'm not. Really confusing, huh.

Anyway, I grabbed some strawberries and nectar. And yes I said nectar, but no I'm not a fairy, but I do have wings and magic. I'll explain that later. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. I grabbed some strawberries and nectar. And headed up to my room.

Laying down on my bed, I ate my strawberries and drank my nectar. Afterwards I let my mind drift off in thought. Then I felt my smile turn back into a smirk and I started laughing. I had started to think about what just happened at the clearing earlier today. And in all honesty, call me sadistic, but I found enjoyment in the way they reacted.

I could easily tell that it made them confused, surprised and a little weary when I told them that I knew that they had been following me from the very beginning; and that I never bothered to say anything until then. Plus the fact that I had called the names of everyone that was fallowing me, and got every single one of them correct. I had easily dodged the hatchet Toby had thrown at me. Acted like it was an everyday occurrence to have a hatchet thrown at me, and worried about the tree that the hatchet had hit instead of myself. I had easily turned my back towards them, leaving me seemingly vulnerable to their next attack.

That I even had the gull to call them out, act annoyed and impatient with them, and even demand something of them. All the while I was calm and relaxed, if only a little annoyed with them, and patiently waiting for them to do or say something. Also not to mention, I had easily fallen asleep at the base of that tree even with the knowledge that they could attack me at any moment, at any given time if they so wished.

I think that's what unsettled them the most, the fact that I acted like my encounter with them was like an everyday occurrence.

But what made this even more enjoyable was Toby's reaction to what I said to him. Oh how I wish I could have seen his reaction after I had left.

Sighing, I wiped away the tears that had formed in my eyes from laughing to hard. And got up off the floor and back onto my bed. I wasn't sure when I had fallen off while laughing, but I didn't really care.

After about four or so more hours, I decided that it was finally time to go to bed. I got up. Did my nightly routine, and changed into my pajamas. My pajamas are a pair of short crimson colored pajama shorts. And a red, form fitting, tank top that shows my mid-riff when ever I stretch, or put my arms up. Yawning, I stretched and crawled into my bed.

Not soon after. I had wrapped myself up in my blanket like how a caterpillar would be wrapped up in its cocoon. And let myself sub-come to the delightful and inviting lull of sleep.
