11:20 pm
We pulled up to the concert and heard cheering and screaming from outside the limo.
"Who else is extremely nervous to debut our new song?" I asked, suddenly feeling jittery.
"Me, I've been working on my riff for ours on end just so I don't muck it up." Sydney muttered.
"We'll do fine guys," Zach assured us giving my hand a small squeeze.
I smiled nervously wiping my sweaty palms on my dress.
'We'll do fine.' I chanted to myself.
After around 5 minutes the limousine door finally opened and we stepped out of the cool car into the warm summer night.
James pulled me aside to take a couple of pictures together and then we went off to take other pictures with the guys. But not before a small chat with me about Zac.
"So," he started while looking around smiling mischievously for the cameras. "When is you and Zac gonna happen."
I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "Not right now James."
We walked over to the fans. "You sure about that?" he cocked an eyebrow shooting me an all-knowing look.
"Hey beautiful." He winked at a 7-year old signing her band shirt. "Hope you enjoy the show." He smiled.
"Thanks," she giggled. "You're my favourite."
As we walked towards the rest I leaned to him. "Ouch, are you gonna tell them or should I?"
He laughed. "Nice attempt Brie, but you can't change the subject that easily. As your best-friend I do believe you guys are secretly canoodling and not telling the rest of the band about it. Which hurts me deeply. And if that is true I must say I am extremely proud of your secrecy."
"Um," I scoffed. "I can keep a secret."
"I know you can."
Ignoring that comment I continued, "And as one of my best-friends, I will deem your opinion as merely just an opinion and not a fact."
"You do that." He smiled.
We parted ways and I walked toward Meghan and Sydney.
"I'm getting kinda tired of fake smiling. Shall we?" Syd asked the hench bodyguards.
As Meghan, Sydney and I walked to the entrance I took another glance backwards to see James and Zac talking. Probably about me.
Definitely about me.
Zac turned round to look at me and I quickly looked back forward, blushing of embarrassment.
"I think Zac caught you staring," Meghan giggled.
"I wasn't staring!" I said in defence.
"Mmhm."
Once we were in our make-up rooms our faces and clothes were re-touched, yet again.
We all wore different outfits but in black per Sydney's request. I wore my dress and Sydney wore these black vinyl trousers and a ripped black crop top, her lacy bra was on show. She tied it up with a necktie choker and black shiny ankle boots.
Meghan wore a body suit tucked into ripped black skinny jeans that showed basically all of her legs. The rips were large and rectangular on her thighs and calves. Underneath the jeans were white fishnet tights tucked into black velvet stacked shoes.

Zac: Do you think they know?
Me: Hah I doubt it, but you texting me instead of on the groupchat may raise a little suspicion.
