"Hey, I want to talk to you about something important. Just hear me out." said Heather's boyfriend. She looked at him with a smile, laying on his chest then nodded at him. He inhaled then exhaled heavily and spoke, "I want out on what we got going on here. Our relationship to be precise." She sat up quickly and a tears rolled down her face. A grin grew on his face, then he took his hand and speared it through her chest, with her heart beating in his hand and he bit chunks from it. Heather watched him enjoy devouring her heart then she fell over, dying slowly.
Heather woke up in her bed surrounded by clouds of smoke, empty pill bottles, and a half empty bag of marijuana. The clock on her right on the nightstand alarmed and she tried reaching it but couldn't. A loud sigh came from her then she rose from bed, then turned off the clock, later she dressed up, more like threw something on.
She looked at her phone, "Shit, shit, and more shit. Late AGAIN." She mumbled to herself.
Her high school was full of students this time of day. She walked the halls hoping to avoid Principal Griffin and a few other nameless people. "Miss Cox." A familiar voice called out to her then she turned around slowly, "May I have a word?" Asked Principal Griffin, so much for avoiding him. Heather walked passed him and into his office. She sat in the leather on the opposite side of him, nothing was said for a while just awkward silence. So quiet that the clock behind him began a rhythm and sound of her butt moving around on the leather played along.
Finally Heather decided to break the silence and spoke, "Principal Griffin what exactly am I in here fo--" he interrupted her, "You know exactly what you're in here for. You're late, again. Not to mention I recall telling you, specially, if you are late again you will serve detentions the ENTIRE week." Then he pushed up his glasses. Heather waited to see if he was finished and he was, then she said, "I know you told me that but uh..... My mom and I were stuck in traffic last night coming from my grandma's. My grandma was very very sick and--" "Spare me the excuse Miss Cox." He interrupted again. She grind her teeth then snapped back, "ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP INTERRUPTING ME OR TALK ME TO DEATH?! YOU CLEARLY SEE ME TALKING HERE!" Heather yelled.
She was kicked out of his office and sentenced to TWO whole weeks serving detention. She walked the halls again with her eyes on her shoes, then she was bumped by Patricia, the hottest girl in the school's history. They turned to look at each other, "Watch it bitch." Patricia said to Heather then moved on. Heather just stood there watching her walk away, talking about her. Later, she made it to her 3rd period and sat in the back to chill.
"Miss Cox?" The teacher waved to her to make sure she was paying attention this time in class. She nodded at the teacher and kept one eye open. "Attention! Attention class we have a new student! Mr. Quintin do you mind introducing yourself?" A caramel skinned guy with short curly black hair, sexy tattoos, jean shorts, maroon colored vans and a large T-shirt, which was also maroon, stood. He turned towards the class, "Hi, I'm Kobe Quintin. I just transferred here from out of state." He said smiling like an angel then sat back down. Heather couldn't keep her eyes off him the entire class period she was staring holes into the back of that guy's head. Then the bell rung, waking her up from her Kobe filled wonderland.
One things for sure: She'll never be the same after this day.
