Today is the day that Blake moves in with me and Summer. I had told him i would help him during my lunch break. I did and we got about half of it.
"Sky. Why dont you just go ahead and take off? I can handle two hours." Mrs. Berdock said.
"No. I cant do that. Blake and Summer can wait a little. Its only three." I said shaking my head.
"Go. As your boss i order you to go help them." she ordered. I looked at her in shock and left.
I called Blake and asked him to pick me up. He wouldnt let me leave unless he drove me. He said he would tie me to the seats if i tried to get out anymore. He finally showed up after about 15 minutes.
"Babe what are you doing leaving work so early?" he asked.
"She said I had to help you, and I argued back. Then she demanded me and it was scary." I said shivering from being cold. It felt good outside. In his truck I was about to freeze.
"Blake im cold." I shivered. He grabbed a sweatshirt from the backseat and handed it to me.
"Here baby." he handed it to me. I took it and put it on.
We soon got back to his place with Summer asleep in the back. She turned nine in a few weeks. Lucky for me it was on a Saturday.
Blake and I got the last few boxes and brought them home. We took them upstairs and put them in the master bedroom. Summer was in my old room and I was in my brothers. I took out the bed because it was old and I didnt like it.
"Im hungry. Lets continue this tomorrow?" Blake asked.
"Im not hungry but you and Summer can eat." personally I was starving but I didn't want to eat. I went to get Summer, and saw her asleep in her bed. I didnt want to bother her so I left her there.
"Wheres Sum?"he asked.
"Sleeping." I answered. "I can stay with you if you want?" I suggested. Just then I heard a noise at the side door.
I went to go invesigate and I heard it again. I jumped a little. I opened the door to see two husky's, a boy and girl, they were obviously homeless and they were adults.
"Aw." I turned to see Blake making some Ramen. "Blake come here." he came and saw the dogs.
"Babe I think shes pregnant. We need to take them in." he said. I nodded and stuck my hand out and they sniffed it and licked it.
I made them a little bed of blankets in the living room, and left to get ready for bed. He soon came up and got ready too. I cuddled up against him. I traced his tattoos. He chuckled every few minutes.
"Summer's birthday is in a few weeks. I wish I had the money to get her a new bed. You know because that ones really old. This one was never really used. He was always somewhere else." I sighed. "I just feel a little usless since I barely make enough money to by clothes and put food on the table." a tear rolled down my cheek. I'm on my period so I'm really insecure. Don't judge me.
"Dont say that. You are no where near usless." he sat up making me sit up too. "Guess what." he said picking me and putting me on his lap.
"What?" i sniffled and wiped another tear thinking of how my mom would do this when i was little. I felt so helpless right now.
"I have a cousin that can get us a bed for like $15." he said smiling.
"No. Im not using your family like that. No. No. Just no." I said getting up, and leaving.
I went to the livingroom and let the dogs sit with me. I got together all the pros and cons. I figured that if he did this for me i would do any thing for him. This was also for Summer. My little baby sister. I ended up falling asleep on the couch.
***Blake POV***
I knew she wanted to do things on her own, but I want Summer to think I can at least be the best father figure she can have. I knew she needed to cool off, so I let her leave and gave her about five minutes. I started getting worried because she hasn't came back up yet. I walked down stairs and saw her asleep on the couch.
I pet the dogs, and picked her up. I carried her to our room and layed her on the bed. She mumbled a few things and finally cuddled up against me after I laid down be side her.
I woke up to the sound of her alarm. Nowing it was a new day I groaned. She started getting up, but I pulled her back down.
"Dont leave me." I said laying my head on her shoulder.
"I have a job. It puts food on the table. I have to get up. I dont want to but I have to." she said and kissed my head.
I let her go and fell back asleep. I didnt feel like putting my stuff, hers, or the things we will be sharing into the master bed room today, but I had to.
At what felt like seven in the morning, but luckily wasnt, someone fell on me. I quickly opened my eyes. I saw Summer.
"Hey kiddo." I said and glanced at the clock. It read '10:12 AM'.
"Good morning Bwake. Deres some dwogies in da kitchen." she said happily in a baby voice. I nodded remebering last night.
I got up and took her hand. We walked downstairs and had some pancakes. Then I got to work on our room.
