Only living with your mom blows. Especially when all she does is work. But I had art to satisfy me. I had lots of friends and people who liked me. I ran track and I was pretty damn good if I say so myself. I'd never really loved anything in my life that I wasn't blood related to, that was, until I met Madelyn. How could a freaking girl make you feel like that? Let me tell you about the first time I remember seeing her. I had gotten to Advanced Art early in the first day of freshman year. I was sticking some papers from English into my folder when I look up and see this... girl... this freaking beautiful girl sitting here across from me. She looks up and smiles.
Quietly she says, "Hi, I'm Madelyn. I'm new here." Gosh even her voice is just beautiful. Like a sunset. She looked like a sunset. She had all these different things to her. All different hues of color that blended so wonderfully together. She had me, right there, she stole my heart and I knew I'd never take it back.
"Oh hi, I'm Kaleb." I say smiling. How could anyone do anything but smile when they look at her.
And it's all I could concentrate on. I don't even have a clue what my teachers name is because all I could think about was her. She had me a mess. And she probably didn't even care to know me.
