Him letting go

I made my way over to Headmaster's Office. My hand knocks on the door. The cheerful headmaster said, "Come in." My fingers wrapped around the cold door knob. I open the door to see the headmaster all happy until I see his jaw drop. He stands up immediately.

"(Y/N)!?" Headmaster yells. His eyes fill up with tears.

"You are...Alive." He adds. I nod with tears in my eyes also. He runs over to me and wraps his arms around me.  Tears fall from my eyes. Without hesitation, I wrap my arms around him.

I say muffled, " Oh how I missed you." He pulls away from hug.

"You missed ME?" He asks playfully.

"Yes" I reply. Footsteps came up from behind me.

"Headmaster. You are being lo-" The very familiar voice stops as I turn around. My eyes locked with the person in front of me. Silver locks covering some of the face. Lavender eyes wide out of shock. The nice body-The nice messy clothes on the -hot- body.

"Zero" I say. Zero's breaths get heavier. My eyebrows furrow in confusion.  Is he scared?

"Its me zero, I'm he-" I was interrupted.

"Monster" he says coldly. My heart starts to race. He backs out of the door way and walks away. I look down at the floor.

"Eh? ZERO! COME BACK HERE!" Headmaster yelled. I ran out the door and grabbed Zero's wrist, pulling on it, making him turn around.

"What the hell do you want?" He asks as if I annoyed him. My jaw drops. Tears stream down my face endlessly.

"I made it back here. For you. Why aren't you suprized?" I look him in the eyes. "Why aren't you happy?" I asked sadly.

"(Y/N). I have no feelings for you anymore. I have moved on. So coming back here for me was a waste." He tells me coldly. I stop breathing for a second. My life just turned upside down. The feeling in my gut was indescribable. How could he do this to me?

"If me coming here was a mistake then why did you go to the roof yesterday? Why did you say you missed me. You aren't apparently over me. I was there for you, you just couldn't see me Zero. I have seen you at your worst. I was there yesterday when you told me you loved me." I told him. My heart was racing and my eyes wouldn't leave his.

He placed his hand on my face, cupping my cheek. "That day yesterday on the roof, was me letting go." He says firmly.  He pushed me away a few inches and walked away. My heart broke. I turn to the side and look at him as he walks away. I felt a presence in front of me so, I turn back around. A vampire stood in front of me.  Takuma.

"Lady (Y/N), You are home." He says kindly. I run into his arms crying.

"T-Takuma!" I yell while my face is buried in his shirt. He rubs my back slowly. Footsteps came up from behind us.

"Stop that right now! Nightclass should not be touching a Dayclass girl!" Yuki's voice was heard. I pull away from the hug.

"Dayclass, get back to your-" She stopped talking when I turn around to look at her. "(Y/N)!!!!!!" She yelled. I open my arms for a hug. She runs into my arms, hugging me tightly. "You're alive!" She says in relief. I was about to say something until two hands ripped me and Yuki apart from our hug. I look up at the disgusting "lord" himself. Kaname Kuran.

"Kaname." I say in disgust. He just sighs and says, "Don't touch Yuki. Understand?" I scoff and walk past them.

I sigh and look down at the floor. Maybe coming back was a bad decision. Maybe I should have suffered. Maybe I deserve to be hurt over and over again. Tears streaming down my face. I stop and look up at the ceiling. I slowly and calmly say,"I wish I was never born"
