The blinding sunlight drenched my room in it's wake.

I hid from it under my blankets, slightly stretching and letting out a small sigh.

Getting out of bed was something I was dreading, having just woken up.

After a few minutes, I worked up enough strength to slide the sheets off of my half-naked body and sat up, rubbing my eyes and looking around the room that was too bright for my liking.

"today's the day" I thought to myself, "They day we move to England and start over."

Boxes full of clothes and personal belongings of mine clustered around my room, towering high.

All that was left to pack was the sheets off my bed and a few things I had left down stairs in my kitchen.

My phone suddenly went off, letting it's loud tone ring echo in my room. I lifted it up and saw that one of my bestfriends, Austin, was calling. I unlocked my phone to answer his call.

"Hey Carlile, what's up?" I said sleepily, stretching my legs and arms.

"Nothing much Jessy, i'm just in the area and thought we could hangout a bit before you and Lyssa left for the U.K" he said in a sweet voice, but I could tell he was sad because of the move.

A small smile appeared on my lips as I remembered my childhood nickname he gave me.

"Sure! Give me a few minutes to get ready and you can come over." I replied happily.

"Ok, i'll be there in a few. Bye Jessy"

"Bye Aus!" I said softly before hanging up.

I got up and slipped on an outfit I had laid out last night. I wore a black Misfits tank top, black spandex leggings and my favorite boots that were adorned with chains on the side. It was summer time, so I was thankful that I owned a handful of tank tops. I let my long red hair fall down my shoulders and to my boobs. It was in its usually curly mess, but I didnt care. I decided on not wearing make up today, so I left my pale complexion and pale blue-green eyes by themselves. I was short, standing at around 5'1", but I liked being short. I had 4 facial piercings, which included the left side of my nose, my septum and spiderbites that clung along the right side of my lip. I grabbed my passport and flight ticket from the bedside table, along with my phone, wallet and ID.

I took one last look around the room I had called mine for the past two years before turning and walking down the hall to Lyssa's room, gently opening the door to see if she was awake. Of course, she was. She was sat on the end of her bed, browsing through some social media site on her phone and drinking coffee.

"Goodmorning sunshine!" I beamed as she yawned and raised her head slowly to look up at me.

"Go away, you asshole. I'm tired." she snapped at me, but I knew her better than that. We had been friends for years and years, so I could tell when she was joking. "By the way, I made a Starbucks run earlier and got you a Frappe, it's downstairs babe." she said softly, still scrolling through her phone.

Even though she can be an asshole, I still loved her.

"Thanks baaaabe. Be down in a few minutes? Austins coming over to see us before we leave" I explained, leaning against her door frame.

Lyssa sighed, but nodded "Fiiiiine. But i'm not dealing with anyones shit today, so if he decides to be a smartass, so help me god.." she trailed off, smiling.

"He wont, shut up. Finish up and come down stairs. The moving guys are supposed to come at 10 and it's alreasy 9:32" I stated before walking back down the hallway and galloping down the stairs.
