My Body

You're probably expecting something the same

The same thing you here in every, single, poem.

About being insecure about my body.

About people abusing my body.

No, you're wrong.

I'm 14.

I'm shorter than 5'4.

I weigh 98.8lbs.

You think I care?

At first I did.

I cared so much about my weight, my height.

I cared about what I looked like.

But, you know what?

I am proud of my body.

I can't change my shape, size, weight, color.

I am proud to be who I am.

I am proud to accept the fact that this is who I am.

This is my body.

My body alone.

I don't care what you say.
