The Genius Trio.

First Semester Midterms.

No body's POV:

The first semester tests were tomorrow. Everyone was doing some last minute revisions. Well... all except three. They were: Asano Gakushuu and Akabane Karma.

Asano, like always studied all week and the day before is taking a break from all the books.  He calls it study cooldown as it helps him remember everything during tests.

However, Karma is a different story. Karma is helping out Okuda in her English. Everyone knows that she among the five people who Karma is always comfortable with. ( others are Nagisa, Nakamura, Kayano and Sugino.

Nakamura is surprisingly stopped fooling around is actually doing some studying..(if you'd call calling Karma every 10 minutes to tease him about Okuda with having a book in hand studying)

It seems that the blonde has actually found a motive after so long. To prove to the ones who thinks their assassination classroom is a joke. And no matter how long it takes she will succeed in her high school mission, and to do that she just need to think of this as an assassination. Without the yellow octopus of theirs. Nakamura texted Karma.

Nakamura: 'Karma I am already bored. I need a partner to talk to. Talk to me.'

Karma: 'Stop fooling around and do some studying if you really want to succeed.'

Nakamura: 'Already getting annoyed. I'm super bored.'

Karma: 'Áctually try to study or if you are really feeling that bored.... look into Koro-sensei's book of advice. I always do and it helps me really.'

Nakamura:'That thing's HUGE! But good idea.. thanks. I really need to talk to Koro-sensei a bit.'

Karma: 'Welcome. Now stop texting, I am studying as well as helping Okuda.'

Examination period... 1. English

As soon as Nakamura saw the paper, she felt like laughing. It was so easy. With a smile on her face, she started going through the paper before starting writing.

Karma glanced at his partner to see her stifle a laugh before going through the paper. He has no doubt, by the looks of things, that Nakamura will get a 100 surely. After all, this subject was her speciality. He scanned through the paper and instantly understood why Nakamura was laughing. They had learnt all this last year when that octopus gave them a high school paper to do. He too, stifling his laughter started through the paper.

Asano started through the test before glancing at his rival to see how he was doing. Seeing him smirk, Asano looked at the source, only to find Nakamura trying to stifle her laughter. 'Why are they laughing in an exam hall?' But he didn't let the 2 young assassins distract him as the question paper in front of him took all his attention. 'The questions are pretty easy!'

Examination period... 2. Maths:

Karma sighed. 'What's with all these questions. Even last year's finals were harder than this.' he thought. sighing again, he started with the paper. 'If the questions carry on like this. All my studies will go to waste. Why did I even study?'

Nakamura again felt like laughing. 'If the questions keep on coming so easy, we wouldn't have to use our brain to get those 100s we want. Without a doubt, Karma's gonna get a 100.' she thought, scanning the questions in front of her.

Asano, for the second time today, wondered that did the two assassins who he calls rivals gone mad. 'What's there to laugh about in these questions.' he wondered before going in his own work.

Examination period...3. Science 

Both Nakamura and Karma thanked Okuda and Takebayashi for the study notes and help in certain areas for this subject. The paper was harder than it seemed and a glance around the room could tell that everyone was struggling. Even Asano.

Asano was going through the question without any problem until he was presented with this question, which he was pretty wasn't taught in class but he still studied. He glanced up to take a note of how everyone was doing, to see almost everyone was struggling.  Except those two. They were swiftly working their way with satisfied smiles on their faces.

Examination period...4. Japanese

Again, the two tricksters thanked Kanzaki for all the help. Among all the papers they had done today, Japanese seemed the hardest. But due to their Japanese expert friend, they were able to go through the test, 100% sure they would get the top marks. 

Examination period... 5. Social Studies.

Asano smiled as he worked through the questions. He praised himself for studying the US economy in more detail.

Our former assassins again made a note to thank Isogai for his help and started through the papers. If he hadn't pointed out a few parts, they would really be stuck.

After the exams:

"The tests were easier than expected. Wasn't it?" Nakamura laughed. "I literally laughed looking at the Maths and English paper."
Karma smirked, "Well we still gotta thank some friends for their help."
"Yeah, Social Studies are my weak spot. If it wasn't for Isogai's help notes. I would've been doomed." Rio said.
And the two assassins and partners in crime chatted and make sure of questions they were uncertain of, as they made their way to the mountains to thank and tell Koro-sensei the news.
