Hey guys, thought I'd have a go at writing a fanfic. My last story 'nothing but dead to me' didn't go down to well so it's a tad short.

This will be in Kendall's point of view and my point of view.

Jamie-Lee's POV

I can't believe I'm moving from Scotland to California. I got the surprise for my 16th, all i've wanted to do since i was five, was sing. And now i get to do that and maybe meet Big Time Rush. I'm having to leave behind my best friend Chloe, so that i can live out my dream.

I really do hope i meet BRT, i love them so much

"Jamie-Lee i'm really going to miss you" someone said, i couldn't make out who. Mainly because i was listening to Epic by BTR, i think i was Chloe or Kerry I'm sure.

"I'm going to miss you too, chloe" i said assuming it was Chloe

"Emmm I'm Martin not Chloe. Jamie told me you were moving to LA and i couldn't let you go without me saying that i love you Jamie-Lee, i always will" he smile, and that boy had one hell of a cute smile. Jamie-Lee shut up he's you're ex for a reason.

"Martin, you know that we are over. You said so yourself and if u wanted me back u should've said something two months ago. Now i'm leaving tonight wether you like it or not!" I shouted at him. Doesn't he get that i want one of my dreams to come true and not my nightmares? I eventually looked up at his face to see him crying over what i just said. I wasn't apologizing for it, he's made my life a living hell.

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly, soon i will be on a plane to America to become a singer. And maybe even meet Big Time Rush.

Kendall's POV

Well it's been 2 months since i lost my girl to new-Zealand and she's never coming back. And within those two months James has become even more of an ass and Logan has annoyed me everyday by bring up her name... Jo. Oh god I've brought it up, I'm such an idiot. I'm hurt heartbroken and the guys will never understand what it feels like to lose someone you love...

"Kendall, are you ok bro?" I heard Carlos say through the door. Atleast he wasn't annoying me.

"Dude i'm fine really, i just need to be alone" i whispered as he walked into our room, he had that look in his eye as if he had a plan. I hated that look.

"Well there's a new girl coming to the palm woods if you to come with me and meet her, it might cheer you up" he said hopefully. Yes i do want to meet the new girl but James always gets the new girl, he's been like that for years.

"What's the point, we all know that James will get the girl and i heard that she isn't here until tomorrow" that'll shut him up.

"Kendall, she's different from what James looks for in a girl... she's from Scotland" once he said that i knew that i definitely wanted to meet her.
