“I haven’t talked to my friends in months” I said sighing
“Is it because they’re ignoring you or because you’re not letting them talk to you?” Ms. Connors asked me
I slowly glanced at her “What makes you think I’m pushing them away? You’re the only person that wants talks to me anymore.”
“You’re father talks to you” She said trying to comfort me
I shook my head “He pity’s me” I sniffled “Every time he sees me its, ‘How are you feeling? Are you ok, do you need anything? You don’t have to go out today if you don’t want’”
“He’s trying to make you comfortable. He doesn’t want you to relapse”
“He doesn’t want me to try and kill myself again.”
*Flash back*
“KENDRA! KENDRA!” My father yelled running up the stairs
Tears streamed down my face as I swallowed the last pill
“KENDRA PLEASE! OPEN THE DOOR” He said banging on the door
I reached for the doorknob “Kendra, please!” I heard him sob
I unlocked and opened the door, my vision started to go. “Dad, I’m scared” I said, collapsing into his arms
*End of flash back*
