I woke up to my alarm, 5:30. At least I woke up today to my alarm. I grabbed my clothes for the day and my phone, then I ran downstairs to take a shower. I put on my music playlist and hopped in the shower.

My dad was at work already so I grabbed pop tarts to eat on my way to the bus stop after I dried my hair. I finished the last bite just as the bus pulled up. The bus was late so I got to my first class and explained to the teacher why I was late, since not a lot of people ride my bus. He excused it and I sat down trying to catch my breath.

At lunch I saw that girl I ran into yesterday and I realized she was in my fourth class. She looked nice, I wanted to go over and talk to her but one teacher already didn't like me and stared me down like a hawk. I was happy when they dismissed us to our fourth period, and since we didn't have assigned seats I went and sat near that girl. When the teacher took roll I noticed how the girl answered to the name "Jessica Anne". After class I stopped her and asked if she would be my friend, even though that sounds desperate, but I was. She agreed, and said since I was her only friend currently, I could sit with her at lunch. It was a relief, and she said I could call her Jessy or just Jessica.

When I got home my dad was already there making dinner, he asked how my new school is. I told him I made my first new friend today and the teachers are nice. He replied with an enthusiastic "awesome". I love him. I went upstairs and saw on facebook, a woman was giving away kittens for free, and the best part, she lived down the road from us, so I asked my dad and he said as long as I clean up after it and take care of it. Of course I agreed.

I contacted the woman and asked how soon I could go down and get one, she said tomorrow evening would be fine. I was so happy. By the time I told my dad she said we could get one tomorrow evening it was almost 9 o'clock. So I threw on some old sweats and loose tee I had sitting around and I went to bed
