A boy's day

I don't know what's wrong with Mother nature but the storm is still going strong. All night Sirius held me close to him and I finally fell asleep. We woke up the next day to heavy rain but no thunder.

"Goodmorning Sleeping beauty.." Sirius smiled, kissing my forehead.

"Goodmorning babe.." I yawned.

"Goodmorning love birds!" A familiar voice said.

James was sitting on his bed, folding his clothes into his trunk.

"Oh hi Prongs! Aren't you with Lily?" I asked.

"Girls day. I guess i'm stuck with you two! Peter went somewhere with his hufflepuff friend or something.. And I'm here folding socks.." He giggled.

"If the girls are having a Girls day, we should have a Boys day too!" Sirius said.

"I wanted to go play quidditch but it's raining and we can't see because of the fog.. Are you guys up for a blanket fort and wizards chest?" He smirked.

"Yes! I love blanket forts! But I need breakfast!" I said.

"Let's go eat and come back later then." Sirius said, standing up.

When I stood up, my back and shoulders felt like they were on fire.
"Ouch.." I said, holding my shoulder in my hand.

"You okay?" Sirius asked.

"My back and shoulders feel so sore.."

"Babe the full moon is coming soon.. Maybe that's why you're feeling sore.." Sirius said.

I tried to stand up but it hurt.
"Pads it hurts.." I said trying to keep the tears in.

"It's okay baby.. Just lay back down.. You're okay.. It's okay.." he said, helping me lay down.

"I hate it.. Why was I the one who was bitten? What did I do wrong?" I said, letting a few tears roll down my cheeks.

"Baby it's not your fault.."

"It hurts.."

"I know babe.. Don't cry please.. Do you want something hot on your back? A bath?" He asked, wipping my tears.

I nodded and James went in the bathroom to open the tap. Sirius sat down next to me and brushed his thumb on my temples. He looked heart broken.

"Here, i'll carry you to the bathroom." He smiled.

He slipped his hands under my legs ans arms and carried me into the bathroom. James left to go get breakfast for us. Sirius helped me undress without it being so painfull. The hot burning water felt good on my skin. Sirius sat on the edge of the bathtub and I leaned my head on his lap. He ran his fingers in my hair and I actually started to feel better.

"Is it too hot love?" He asked.

"Mhmm.. It's perfect.." I mumbled.

"Do you want me to rub your back and shoulders?" He asked.

"Yes please.." I said.

He rubbed my shoulders and it felt good. It was slightly painful but at the same time it was relieving.

"Is it okay? Am I hurting you?"

"No.. It feels good.."

When James arrived with breakfast, I dried myself and layed down in the bed with my back against the headboard.

"You feel better mate?" James asked, handing me cinnnamon rolls.

"A bit.."

"If I make an extra comfy blanket fort, are you gonna come in it?" He asked smilling.

"Of course I will.." I smiled.
James and Sirius built up the fort as I watched them, giggling. When it was done, I moved into the comfy corner they made for me. We played chess and listened to good music. I don't know if they both let me win so I could feel better.. but I won all the rounds of chess. We then watched a wizard movie with the projector James got last christmas. The image was reflecting on the white sheet tucked on the wall. During the movie, Sirius brushed his hands on my back. I don't know what I did to get someone who cares so much about me, someone who is in love with me.. Someone like him.. But i'm so very thankful.
