TeamCraftedStories2: Part 2

I woke up to lots of beeping machines. I open my eyes to see someone asleep in a chair.

Bella:

"Where am I?"

They jump when I ask.

Adam:

"You're awake! let me go get a nurse"

Before I could respond he jumped up and ran out the door. A few minutes later he walked back in with a nurse who did a bunch of tests.

Nurse:

"You'll have to stay for a few days just so we can be sure you're okay."

Bella:

"What happened?"

Nurse:

"You were in a pretty nasty crash"

Bella:

"Wheres Jerome?"

The nurse and Adam give each other a few looks.

Nurse:

"You were both in comas."

Bella:

"So he's awake?"

Nurse:

"Well...not yet"

I felt like crying.

Bella:

"How long was I out?"

Nurse:

"About a week"

Bella:

"I want to see Jerome"

Adam:

"I'll take you"

The nurse unhooked me from the machine and I followed Adam to Jerome's room. We walked in and saw him hooked up to the same machines as me. I didn't notice I was crying until Mitch hugged me. I didn't even notice he was in the room.

Mitch:

"He'll be okay. I know it"

I continued to cry into Mitch's shirt before Adam spoke up.

Adam:

"I'm going to call the others and tell them your awake.

I just nod as I walk over to Jerome and grab his hand. He looks so peaceful.

Bella:

"Please wake up"

I whisper and pull a chair over to his bed so I can hold his hand as I sit. I look over to Mitch and he's crying.

Bella:

"Hey, he'll be okay. How about you go home and get some sleep. You can come back later"

He just nods and walks out the door. I sit looking at Jerome, stroking his hand and eventually fall asleep.
