CHAPTER 3 - OBVIOUSLY UNSEEN - SKYLAR
I cautiously start to get up, leg by leg, hoping to get off the floor swiftly and stand back up to my feet.
I feel a cold, slimy liquid starting to slowly drip down my left leg. I look down to see the tinest puddle of blood on the ground. Blood is slowly but surely started to drown my leg in it's mass.
No pain comes to me while I'm staring down with my head slightly turned to my left, at my leg now drenched in blood.
I look back and see the black figure, but this time it isn't running. It stands completely still. Almost like it's studying every single move I make.
I stare back at it for the slightest second until I see it bolting towards me.
Fuck.
I start to sprint, my legs carrying me farther and farther but getting nowhere.
How long is this going to last?
I keep running forward, stumbling on a few things but being able to regain my balance.
Looking back, it's gone again. How more fucking cliche can this get?
I can see a light up ahead but that's all. Maybe a road? God, I hope so, I'm in no shape to be running around like this in the middle of the night.
This is really fucking tiring, and I have a massive headache. All this running is making me sick and it's getting really hard to breathe.
Looking back for the millionth time in the last hour, and by the time I turn back around I run into an object that feels like a brick wall, and my head starts to spin.
Not again. No Sylar, do not black out. Skylar Gray, I repeat do not black out. Fuck it.
My head goes cold and everything goes black.
