"Sir, there's a problem." A nervous young man said.

"What is it now," Jaxx snapped at him.

"The fairies." The man said facing the ground, his body trembling.

Jaxx froze in his seat. "The White Fairy, to be exact, sir." Jaxx's face turned pale, with memories of the fairy's strength.

"Thank you. Please send in Mr. Volt."

"Of course, sir."

Minutes later Mr. Volt, the head of security at the castle, came in. "Volt, how are you?"

"Doing just fine Jaxx, how about you?" His accent was heavy in the otherwise silent room.

"You know me, holding on."

"Alright Jaxx, let's get to the business. These here fairies, they getting strong. The White Fairy, she leading them."

Just like he had in the past, Jaxx ignored the funny way he talked."What is she doing with them? Are they preparing for war?"

"Oh no Jaxx. She sent a message, says she wants to talk with you. Face to face, she says."

"Did she mention why?" Jaxx was incredibly confused, the fairy had left without an explanation for him ten years earlier, and eight years ago Jaxx had stopped looking for her.

"No Jaxx, she just says she want's to talk." Volt answered.

"Alright Volt, prepare your troops for the fairies. Make sure they're ready for anything."

"Yes Jaxx, of course." Mr. Volt left the room, and left Jaxx worried, as the White Fairy had powers not a thing had ever seen.

Raylee dived towards the ground, and then extended her wings, stopping her decent. She looked through the window from a distance, but she couldn't see much, Jaxx was talking to someone and looked down, frustrated.

"Raylee, they'll see you," Remington said.

"Good," Raylee replied, leaving her friend behind her, groaning.

"Raylee don't." She didn't listen, she flew closer to the window and peered inside again. The other man in the room, she recalled was named Volt, he was the man who led all the soldiers at the castle. He was most likely telling Jaxx about the message she had sent earlier.

"Raylee, what are you doing? Let's go." Remington said, and with a flap of his smokey gray wings he was in the air again. The two headed back to the Dark Garden.

In the Dark Garden fairies with black, dark blue, or deep purple wings lived, but Raylee and Remington liked to say they were "disparate." Raylee's crystal white wings, and Remington's light gray wings stood out. When the two were together they always seemed safer and secure.

They reached the ground and began walking on the dirt path that went throughout the garden. Behind them two followers lighted down. Raylee turned her head, her face turning to surprise.

"What's the news?" The female, Sona asked.

"You two are leading this?" Raylee retorted.

"Yep!" The other follower, Orion piped in, ignoring Raylee's tone.

Raylee jokingly rolled her eyes at their excitement, Sona had never been assigned to a real mission, she had always been told to go find a missing pet, or a certain kind of plant. Orion had helped in the Great Fire ten years ago, and was hurt, then after he healed, Sona, his sister was born and he had to help his mother with her. Now that Sona's ten, he can help with missions.

For this one though, he specifically requested Sona to help him.

Raylee began walking again, the siblings trailing behind her. "Alright then. King Jaxx has recently been informed about the meeting. I will inform the other castle leaders of the time of the meeting soon. During this time the castle will be preparing for a, war."

"A war?" Orion and Sona asked together.

Remington chuckled at their confusion,"you do understand that's our goal? We want them to be on edge, then we'll show them we have strength."

The two still looked confused, "you'll see, just do your job. And there won't be a war, we don't want that." Raylee said, and flicked them away. The two pushed their black wings against the air and up they went.
