I never knew what paradise was like until now. Asleep with my girlfriend, Abigail, Purple hair, beautiful opal eyes, and a sense for helping. I was dreaming about being in an oasis, floating over water, and all of a sudden...
Someone bursts into my room.
I thought it was a dream, but the next second, I was awoken by screaming. "GET OUT! I WILL THROW YOU OUT THE WINDOW WITHOUT A DOU- What are you doing!? Put me down! PUT ME DOWN!" Abigail screamed and shouted. Next thing, I was knocked unconscious. This is a dream... a bad dream... even worse, A nightmare... Please... Don't tell me this is true...
The next day...
I woke up breathing heavily, and looked beside me... And to my delight, Abigail left a note.
Good morning, Honey! I've gone down stairs and made you breakfast. Your favorite! I might be watching another episode of Adventure Time. Our Favorite. Come down as soon as you read this note. And don't forget what day it is!
"Heheh. Yes! Omelette! I can't wait!" I said, Joyfully. "Abigail knows what I like."
As I head downstairs, I hear noise of a busy yet sometimes quiet country town. It's a lovely sound when you don't have the bus running, but when it is, People from everywhere do anything. It was all different as soon as I met Emily's friend, Sandy. But never mind that.
"Good morning, Abby! I'm here!" I said, Joyfully. "How did you sleep?"
"Ugh. Terribly. I had this terrible dream when I was awoken by this Swarm agent. It makes me think that I'll be gone in a day or two. But I made you omelettes! Also, Happy Birthday and anniversary! Have this!" Abby said with a cheer. She is so happy about this day. It's quite a coincidence. "Also, It's a lovely fall morning! Isn't it, Dear?"
"Thanks! And yes. It's really lovely, Like you." I said, starting to flirt with her. Abby started to blush when I said that. "I remember when we met. You were the third person I met. Remember?"
"Yeah... It was a great day. Also, It's my birthday in a week!" Said Abby.
"Oh, and... I have this... *Pulls out amethyst* Here. I know you love it." I said as I gave her the amethyst.
"Aww... Thank you! You always know what I like! You're the best!" She said. "Now then, I know you have work to do at the local community center, and congrats for finishing it!"
I thanked her, gave her a kiss, and then I left for the community center.
At the community center...
There was Robin and Lewis holding a big banner saying "Congrats!" and I was wished happy birthday/anniversary. But I can't shake the feeling that I'm hanging by a thread, but no matter. This is my biggest day. Nothing could go wrong! Having the best girlfriend, birthday, community center finished and having my best friends here with me! Well... One of them anyways. Abigail isn't here... But I'll be fine... I guess. I did my job, made friends with tourists, and then went home... But the worst happened...
At home...
ABIGAIL WASN'T THERE. She'd usually leave a note when she leaves or she'd text me! But the door was unlocked when I left and... "Oh. My. God. A video tape. Abby left this... maybe recorded... and my crops are burnt... my animals have been shot... Oh my god. This can't have happened. This is No dream. It's not real... no... no, no, no, nononononono!!!! NOOOO!!!!" I shouted. But after that... I chose to watch the tape and see what happened.
KZZRRT! "Le-Leafair! If you are watching this... *RZZTT* it means that we are being attacked by the swarm! If you can come save me, I heard them shouting an address. It is 1019 willow lane. Please come help! Please! And one last thing... *KRRK* I-if we live... I have this question I'll ask you!" *Soldier barges in* "You are coming with us!" KZZRRT!
The video ended and I knew what I had to do. I was going to save Abigail my way.
Holy crap. 686 words and a stolen girlfriend!? Wow... I'd hope he finds her. The last sentence,
"I was going to save Abigail my way."
Is where I got the title from. Next chapter will come out sometime. Hope you liked this one, and leave a comment if you have any ideas for another story!
