Chapter Five: Unarmed and endangered (Pt 2)

(Oh, BTW, I'm listening to the theme while I type up this chapter)

I have a few choices on what I can do. They are "Attack > Moves to pick", "Action > Choices inside", "Bag > Healing items" and "Run > Acceptable, but not reccomended."

I choose to act on my choices and think of a conversation.

"Look, man. I don't want to fight you! I was just looking for directions!" I plead.

He didn't take kindly to that. Instead, he thrust his sword at my chest but I hopped out of the way.

Next, I tried to be nice and treat him.

"If you let me live, I'll buy you something you'd like, if I can still get a weapon." I bribed.

"Bribery!? That's illegal if you don't promise." He said back. At least he didn't attack me.

And then, I realized that swords cost a lot. Well, I guess acting just won't do. How about... an attack! But... Punching and kicking won't work unless his armor fell off. I searched my surroundings... and found a stick.

"Well, This'll do." I said.

Then, I close my eyes and hope for the best. 

"OW! Please, have mercy! I never knew a weak looking teen would cause so much pain! I should never attack anyone who crosses my path unless they are looking for empeachment. Sorry for attacking you while you were Unarmed and endangered." He said. "If you need, I see you are on an adventure. I could be of help." 

"Well, at least that's over. No. I don't need help. Just give me directions." I said, sternly. 

"Okay, Okay. Go up to the chef's house, take a left, take a right and you should be at the armory. Also, for winning, take some cash. This is your one time offer, and you may need it. Shields and swords are pricey these days." He said.

"Thanks for that! Okay then. Bye!" I said.

I arrived at the armory and asked the store clerk for one iron Sword and Shield. They said "They're 6120 gold" and I noticed, I had JUST enough. I could also get some food in which would be helpful. 

"Thanks! See ya around, Maybe." I said, noticing it was late. "Well, It's 10:00 P.M. I'd better get to sleep." 

And so, I went off to sleep after writing in my daily adventure log.

Day One.

Today was crazy. Long, Time wasting talks, fighting a castle guard in norfair and splurging my money on something to save Abigail. I just hope she's okay, and that I don't have to KILL anyone or watch anyone die just in a matter of moments. If nothing had happened, Abigail and I would be sleeping soundly at home instead of leaving home just to waste my life saving her. I mean, She's worth it, and I'm just hoping that we can get married some time. I mean, if that's her question, I'd say yes! Or does it work the other way around? ...Never mind that. I'm alive, she should be too, I have a big day tomorrow. This should be a big one.

Ooohhh!!! This chapter was LONG and got split into TWO parts! Well, That was actually fun to type and I'm looking forward to how many people like my book! Oh, By the way... the reference in part 1 was from the Tattletail song from Try Hard Ninja.

The next chapter should be up today or tomorrow. (3/20/2017 or 3/21/2017)
