YOONGI'S POV:

Trying to stay awake was not that hard once 7:00 drew closer and closer because I was getting so nervous. It took about 3 hours for me to get ready and to decide what to wear. I kept on sending pictures of my outfits to Namjoon to ask if they looked okay. He always said that they looked good but I kept changing anyways.

I looked at the clock and realized it was 6:30 and I completely forgot to ask Jimin for his address, so I texted him and asked for it. Once he responded, I left my apartment and made my way to his place.

JIMIN'S POV:

I didn't think that I would get so nervous about my date with Yoongi. He asked me out first of all, so why should I have been?

Jungkook aided me with getting ready and finding the perfect outfit. I was really indecisive, but he continued to tell me that I looked fine.

After what was probably my 10th outfit that I tried on, he said, "He's going to think you look great no matter what you wear hyung. Don't worry about it."

"I'm just so nervous," I sighed. "I haven't gone on a date in over a year."

"You'll be fine," he reassured me. "Who can resist the charm of the Park Jimin," he said somewhat sarcastically.

I chuckled, "Thanks for helping me out. I know it was probably annoying."

"Anything for my hyung," he smiled at me.

"Shit," I said realizing that it was almost 7 and Yoongi had already texted me earlier. "He's gonna be here soon," I looked at my outfit, scared that it wasn't the one.

"I told you that you look fine," Jungkook laughed at my excessive worry.

"Okay," I sighed. "Okay."

Seconds later, I heard a knock on my door.

"Go in your room and don't embarrass me," I ordered Jungkook.

"Okay, okay," he began walking to his room. "Good luck," he smiled.

I walked up to the door and took a deep breath before opening it. Before me was standing Yoongi, looking even better than when I had seen him previously.

He smiled at me, "You look great."

"You do too," I grinned back, my cheeks blushing.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked.

"Yup, let's go," I said leaving my apartment with him.

"Where are we going?" I questioned him about the "surprise" date.

"I can't tell you yet," he hummed.

"Why not," I pouted. "The suspense is killing me."

"That's the point," he winked.

After walking for about 10 minutes, making small talk, we arrived at a carnival. I smiled at his cheesy but cute idea.

"Here we are," he announced.

I giggled, "This is cute. I love going to carnivals at night."

"Really?" he smiled. "I was scared that you might not like it."

"Of course not! Who doesn't like carnivals?"

"I don't know, I was just nervous," he looked at his feet.

"It's okay Yoongi," I reassured him. "I was pretty nervous too, if I'm being honest.

He looked at me and smiled, "Let's go on some rides."

We walked around looking at all the different rides and decided on going on the big swing ride.

It seated two people in one swing, so we sat close to each other and put the bar over our legs. We were so close that our legs were touching and I started blushing.

"Are you seriously nervous on a ride like this," he laughed.

"No!" I shook my head. "I'm fine."

"Good," he put his hand out inviting me to hold it, making me blush more. I placed my hand in his, and the ride lifted off the ground and started spinning. We looked out over the carnival as we held hands. I wondered if he was as nervous as I was, and I hoped he couldn't notice all my blushing.

As we got off the ride and began walking around once again he said, "Aw you're blushing," while poking my cheek.

"Stop," I chuckled looking away.

"It's cute," he grinned. His smile was so beautiful that I continued to blush more.

He directed his attention to a carnival game where you threw darts at balloons to win a prize. Most of the prizes were Pokemon plushies.

He pointed at it and asked, "Do you want me to win you one?"

"Th-that's fine," I said. "You really don't ha-"

He cut me off and pulled me toward it, "I'm gonna get you one anyways. I'm the best at these things," he lit up.

"Okay then," I giggled at his enthusiasm.

He wasn't lying when he said that he was the best. He managed to pop the balloons with what seemed to be no effort.

"See, I told you," he teased. "You can pick the one that you want."

I pointed to the cute clefairy that was on display. The man working at the game handed it to me.

"It's blushing just like you," he joked. "How cute."

We went on a few more rides until Yoongi said, "Let's go. This is just the beginning."

"Just the beginning?" my eyes widened. "What do you have up your sleeve, Min Yoongi."

"I told you that it's all a surprise."

YOONGI'S POV:

It was relieving to know that Jimin was just as nervous as me. He couldn't stop blushing even for a second which made him even more adorable. He seemed so amused by the carnival, it was like he was a little kid. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him as he was looking around at everything.

I was taking him to the next destination after the carnival. It was one of my favorite places to go when I wanted to clear my mind. It wasn't too far of a walk also.

"Ta-da," I said upon arriving to the spot above the entire city.

His mouth dropped open at the amazing view of the busy city. The stars were shining bright in the night sky above us and we were completely away from all of the commotion down below.

"This is beautiful," he said looking to me.

"I hoped that you'd like it," I said observing his beautiful features under the pale moonlight.

"I love it."

We laid down on our backs, looking at the stars while talking for what seemed like hours.

"Why did you ask me to go out?" he asked suddenly, taking his eyes off of the sky to look at me.

I was a little shocked that he had asked. I hesitated, "I don't know..." I trailed off. "You just seemed like a great person. I haven't really dated in a while because I'm scared of putting myself out there and asking people out... But you were just so comfortable to talk to."

He looked back up at the stars smiling, "You shouldn't be scared of it. I'm glad that you asked me."

"I'm glad that you agreed," I grinned.
