" But, dad, I won't be out late and Katie will be there!"
" Is there going to be adult supervision?"
"Daaaad we are old enough to party without adult supervision, plus some of us are 18 so we do have adult supervision"
"Abosolutely not!","Parties like these have very bad outcomes and I can't risk you being in a situation like that"
"Bu-"
"No ifs, ands or buts. You are not going."
"GOD I HATE YOU!!! Why can't I be a normal teenager who gets to have fun?!!"
"I'm sorry honey, but I have to go to work"
" Of course, you do"
"Bye, I love you"
I flinched away as he leaned down to kiss the top of my head.
" You don't have to be so difficult, you know", he sighed
I stood up and put my dishes in the sink
" I'm going to go meet up with Zayn and we're going to Starbucks after school."
