" Emma!! I'm over here" "Hey" , it's been a rough day and Riley and I have been friends forever so she can tell when I sad or have a problem. At lunch Riley stares at me and looks up "Emma what's wrong?" " nothing is wrong" " something is. I know cause whenever your nervous you always start biting you lip. And you're chewing it so hard it's like a cookie that won't break, so tell me what's wrong?" I look around the cafeteria " let's go to the outside tables.

Riley looks at me " sweetie what's up. Is it about that new song everyone is talking about you wrote. Because you wrote it for Jake do you think your taking your relationship to quickly? I mean I saw the poem it was really cute all the stuff you were saying about jaa..." I quickly interrupt her " the si g wasn't about Jake okay. It never was and most likely never will be." " what?" I was trying to make a decision on who I like more and I wrote down my feelings. That song wasn't about Jake." Riley looks at me " then who else would it be for I mean the only other person is Hayes and y'all .." she pauses then looks at me " Hayes?" " yes I wrote the song about Hayes."
Hayes POV
I'm walking outside with a group of my friends when I hear " what's wrong??" It's two girls talking. Oh it's Emma and Riley. I start walking the opposite direction when I hear "yes the song is about Hayes." The song was about me the whole time. Wow. So does she have the same feeling for me. Only one way to find out.
Emma's POV
School just ended and I'm on my way home when I get a text
Jake❤: hey can I come over so I can hear the awesome new song the most amazing person ever wrote for me??
Me: no today. Kinda tired . Some other time??
Jake❤: yeah that's cool
I get to my house and throw on some sweats and a tshirt. decide to watch Netflix and eat cold pizza . I'm just sitting on the couch when I hear a knock at the door. Uggg I open it quick " Jake I said don't come.." when I'm interrupted by a kiss. I know it's not Jake but I like this. I know it's wrong but I start kissing back. I don't know why it just feels right. After a while I pull back and look up "Hayes" I just look up and smile at him.
