Cassandra POV
After the whole chocolate thing, at night we went to get my car that Miss Lillian insisted on going with me. Xavier and Mr. Ambrose decided to stay in the house where they were going to life for many years.
"Lady Cassandra can you tell me more about the future?" Miss Lillian or lily asked me, how can I refuse everything is going to change when we get back I can already feel the changes.
"Sure Lillian and please just Cassandra or Cassy we don't use tittles in the future." I laughed and she smiled.
"Where to begin...I graduated from New York University my majors was business, science, technology, literature, and photography. I started my company and then it just kinda spread until I reached England and bought Ambrose Inc. that is now the "Mackenzie Science and Technology building". We handle all types of prototypes, like now we are working on having voice operator instal in all the houses. Also we are working on new military weapons that would benefit us in the future." I was about to go on but the look she gave me made me stop. We finally reached my car and I quickly unlocked it.
"Lillian get on." I said and she started to climb the car. "No you open the door! Get off my car." I whispered screamed at her and open the passengers door for her. She got on and I closed the door. I went to the drivers side and got on.
"How can this move without horses?" She has a lot to learn more then I'm aloud to teach her...you know spacetime continuum and all that good stuff. I turned the engine on and it purred to life. My sweet baby!
"Well you see the thing we use is gasoline that fires the engine and the gasoline is flammable... It burns, and the gasoline creates heat energy when it ignites. Heat created by the igniting gasoline and air mixture is what gives us the power necessary to propel Mustangs, or any car. With all of this in mind, let's talk about internal combustion engines. "Internal combustion" means we burn fuel and air inside the engine to create heat and generate the power necessary to propel a car." I said to her not knowing if I explained it the easiest way possible. (Sorry guys my dad explained me the engine using a Mustang) She looked totally confused so I know I did a horrible job.
"Ok there's an engine and the engine goes 'broom broom' so that means it can move. If I move this stick and press my foot on this thing called the petal." She nodded and I backed up to the street and we went on our way to the mansion. Since the streets were empty I despise to step on it more. We were going 150 miles an hour and it felt great. I made a turn and I slowed when we started to see the mansion. I parked on the drive way, and unbuckle my seatbelt.
"That was amazing! Can we do it again!" I laughed at Lillian and Xavier got out of the house furious.
"Hold on Lillian I'm going to see what's up." I said to her and got out of the car.
"Are you fucking kidding me Ms. Mackenzie! I don't pay you to mess around I expect you to get the job done!" What the hell is he talking about I pay him!
"What the fuck are you talki-"
*smack*
I fell to the floor...he slapped me. Tears came threatening to come down. Lillian got out of the car and came to my side.
"Cassandra are you ok! That bastard! Son of a bachelor!" She screamed at him. I felt numb what just happen. Then new memories came to me...I'm his secretary with big dreams. I'm not a successful business woman he bought my company. I'm also a model, and writer. Why am I working for him then?
"Mr. Ambrose I have always done everything you need! I-I resign!" I yelled at him and Mr. Rikkard Ambrose came out. He looked at Lillian but when he saw me his jaw clenched.
"Who hurt a women." He said in a deadly tone. Well it's not my fight I'm a successful model working for Victoria Secret, Channel, Forever 21, and Guess.
"Your grandson." Lillian said and helped me stand up. Then everything became back to normal. Xavier's eyes widen and lifted his hand to touch me but I flinched.
"Baby I'm so sorry I never wanted to hurt you! You mean so much to me!" He said trying to get close to me but I backed away.
"When we go back to out time periods we forget about each other and live the life they have for us." I said looking down. He went on his knees and hugged me having his face against my stomach. He was shaking like if he was...crying?
"Don't leave me Cassy...I won't be able to live without you...without seeing your face everyday...without having to sneak glances at each other...without having your lips on mine...we just started dating...I just started to call you mine...please don't do this." Now he wasn't the only one sobbing I was also but I cleaned my tears.
"What's done is done Xavier we can't go back I can't forgive you from hitting me..." It started to rain and he only cried harder. He hugged me tighter. "I can't believe you if you say it was one time thing because that's were the abuse starts an I can't handle that...were over Xavier." I said and pushed him away from me and ran inside leaving Xavier outside in the rain all alone and empty just like I felt inside...
