Jacks POV
I roll over in bed groaning and smack my alarm clock that is annoyingly beeping at me. I groan as it stops its rampage.
I sit up and rub my eyes, feeling the cold Irish air against my bare skin.
I look back over at my alarm clock to see that its only 5:00am.Screw early Monday mornings.
I think to myself, as I roll out of bed to go make some coffee.
The smell of the brewing coffee makes my nose tickle.
I pour the brown hot liquid into my mug, and enjoy the bitter taste.
After about an hour of getting ready, I jump into my brand new Porsche. I recently bought it.
I put the car into reverse and drive out of my driveway. I've been saving money for years to buy this car.
I smile at the rumbling of the engine as I soar quickly, down the road.
Ariving at my job I close the car door and walk into the building. I am the owner of an airline. We make billions of dollars yearly, and are one of the most popular airlines worldwide.
People smile politely as I step into the elevator and hit the floor 27. The top floor, where my office is held.
The elevator dings and I step out onto the carpet that makes up the floor.
My receptionists looks up at me and smiles. Her blue eyes meet with mine and a price of her blonde hair sweeps across her face. I smile back at her as I twist the doorknob into my office.
I sit down at the desk in front of me. I sigh and put my reading glasses on.
Gonna be a log day. Just like everyother one.
I sigh, but get started by going through emails. The emails are all work related and uneventful.
Hours pass and I'm exhausted, I get up for my lunch break. I sit in my car and look at my phone for a moment.
I pull out of the parking lot and head out to where my lunch spot was. A small diner that makes the best waffles you will ever have.
I personally think that even though I run a very adult, mulit billion dollar company. I'm a child at heart.
I turn on the radio and the only thing playing is Taylor Swift. But I could care less, as long as its music.
I pull up to a stoplight and I have a moment to scream along to the lyrics.
"CAUUUUUSEEEE WE ARE NEVER, EVER, EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ARE NEVER, EVER, EVER!!! GETTING BACK TOGETHER!"
A woman in the next lane over looks at me with one eyebrow raised. I realized that I was screaming loud enough for her to hear.... Through my car, and hers. I blush in embarrassment but thankfully the light turns green and I can leave.
After a short amount of driving I arrive at my favourite diner. I jump out of the car and close the door.
In the diner they have new pictures up and I look at them. They are pictures of beautiful islands in the carribean.
Even though I own an airline company, I've never really traveled. I always have to much work to do when I'm in my home town.
I would love to go someplace like that.
I think as I brush off the picture and go to sit at the breakfast bar. As I sit down my favorite waitress Lyndsey comes to serve me.
"Hey, Jacky! What can I get for you this morning." She asks chipper.
"Hmmmmm. Well I'd like the waffles, but with extra maple syrup, whipped cream and sprinkles." I smile childishly.
"Of course, only for you Jackaboy." Lyndsey laughs and goes to put my order in.
After about 10 minutes my food is ready and I bite into the delicious waffle mix. It tastes like clouds perfectly blanketed in a thick coating of maple syrup.
I finish it with one last sip from my lemonade and give Lyndsey the money for the waffle.
"Here a tip! Don't spend it all in one place. Unless your spending it on candy then thats fine." I say handing her the money.
Her red hair bounces as she salutes me with a big grin.
"See yah tomorrow Jacky!" She yells and waves as I open the door to go back to my car.
*Time skip, brought to you by Phan*
I close my apartment door behind me as I sigh at the exhausting day.
"Honey! I'm home!" I yell,
"Oh wait, I'm single aren't I?" I raise an eyebrow to myself and walk over to my room.
I jump and roll onto my bed, the soft blankets against my skin. I grab my phone out of my pocket and scroll through Instagram.
Endless meaningless spam and other stuff clogs up my feed. Then I scroll down to a picture of a man.
A man with black hair, and chocolate brown eyes. The classic red flannel lays over his shoulders. His face in a goofy pose.
I smile at this man and click on his account. In his bio is simply;
Mark :)
Hmm. Mark. That's a nice name.
I scroll through most of his photos. Only liking a few of them but not all of them. Each photo led me into a deeper understanding of who he was.
After about an hour of looking at his page I see in my notification that he liked one of my photos.
I clicked on the notification almost instantly. It was a fairly recent selfie I took maybe about a week ago.
Then a few minutes later he likes another picture. I smile when I see his username in my notifications.
I keep refreshing my page, waiting for his name to pop up on my screen one last time.
I do this for maybe a good five minutes. But then he comments on one of my pictures;
Love the look! The tie looks great :)
The picture he commented on was an old, old photo. Maybe two or three years ago. It was when I was going to a business meeting and there was a huge. Absolutely huge mirror in this bathroom.
So as any normal person would, I took a mirror selfie. And the last photo he likes is a picture of the sunset going over a river near my old house.
I giggle at the username. I feel pretty stupid just giggling at my phone. The guy was just looking at my page. Its not like it means anything.
I roll my eyes at my self but to busy in my own head. I almost miss my phone vibrating with the notification;
New message from Mark.
Hey guys! I wrote a new story! Are yah proud of me! I really do hope this one does just as well as the Dark and Anti story did but if it doesn't that's ok. Thank you lovelies ❤
