Claire....Claire, wake up. Please, Claire, wake up.

I woke up feeling completely numb, the only reason I didn't think I was dead was because Manny's voice was going off in my head like an alarm clock.

"I'm awake, I'm awake...I'm cold." I sat up, oblivious to my surroundings, and rubbed my shoulders, trying to bring warmth back to them. "Why am I so cold?" I whispered, too exhausted to talk. I look around and notice I'm still in the North Pole, and it's nighttime.

Claire, you're blue. You need to get somewhere warmer.

"I'm so tired..." I mumbled, my eyes drooping. The fatigue that rested on my shoulders felt like the weight of the world and it was much worse than the numbing cold.

Claire, listen to me, as soon as you get somewhere warm, you can go to sleep. Otherwise, you will never wake up again.

"That sounds nice." I sink deeper into the snow, and it covers me like a warm blanket just out of the dryer. Within seconds, I am out.

Oh no...

"Are you sure you saw a person? You sure it wasn't just the snow?" a voice came into my head, and planted itself there. I don't know where I am, how I got here, even what year it is, to be honest.

"No, it was a person. I'm sure of it."

"How do we know you're not messing with us, mate?"

I slowly come out of that state between conscious and sleep, and I realize I'm in the middle of a blizzard, and I'm freezing.

"Because if I was messing with you, I would be laughing and smirking and I'm currently not doing that right now."

"Guys, I think I see something." A girl said hesitantly. I slowly sat up, which took every ounce of energy I had, and each move burned.

"Hello?" A voice called. It was male, and sounded young and American.

"Whoever it is probably can't see us." By this point, they were close enough that through the blizzard I could see their silhouettes.

"Well, if they can't, then they don't hear us, if they can, we can help them." The group walked foward still searching, and I could finally see them clearly.

"H-help m-me pl-please..." I stuttered. There was a small golden man who looked like sand floating, looking around with a huge man with a white beard and red clothing, a humming bird lady, either a giant bunny or a kangaroo, and a barefoot boy with white hair. He must've heard me call out, because he looked over in my direction, where I was almost completely buried in snow. He ran over and dug slightly, until he could see my face completely. He looked over at the group he was with and tried to get there attention. It seemed like he couldn't talk. After about five minutes, I couldn't take it anymore and used every ounce of me to call out.

"H-hey, I-I'm over h-here!" Everyone turned and looked at me and they ran over to start digging me up.

Once I was in a warm bed in a warm building somewhere nearby, I was immediately bombarded by questions.

"I don't know." I mumbled. "I don't know, I don't know, and I don't know."

"So you don't remember anything?" the fairy lady asked me.

"No."

"If I knew your name, I could help you."

"I don't remember my name." I whispered sadly.

"So, are you human, orrr...?" The boy asked cautiously, as if I was going to bite him.

"What do you mean?" I asked, sitting up.

"Are you, like, immortal, like us, or human?"

"Um...well, I don't know...all I can remember is..." I squeezed my eyes and tried to remember everything I could. Something about the moon and me, laughing together. The wind pushing me up into the air, and me flying through it. Something about a globe, filled with beautiful lights that reminded me of stars. "I remember the moon, and me, laughing together." I said slowly. I didn't know if to them, that was normal, but to me, it seemed ordinary. "I remember flying, through the air like I had no care in the world. I remember a globe, dotted with lights like stars."

Everyone in the room shared a worried expression.

"Follow us, please." the fairy girl grasped my hand and lead me out of the room. She led me into a giant room, which gave me severe deja vú. The giant globe I had mentioned before was sitting right in the middle.

"Woah..." I breathed. I was looking up into the night sky through a small hole in the ceiling, which a bright full moon was beaming down on me. I smiled, and he smiled back. Memories flooded back into me, thousands of years worth, which if you could imagine gave me a horrible headache and I felt like passing out. Then, when everyone gasped and ran over to me, I could only assume I did.

God, this day keeps getting worse and worse.
