The Cure

Elena's pov

"I told you guys that one day i would do the impossible" rebecca stands holding a box and inside lies 3 cures to vampirism.

I look at Damon and Bonnie who are absolutely stunned

"one for Bonnie, one for Elena and one for Damon"Rebecca points out.

Damon looks at me with a smile on his face finally another cure a chance to live a normal life a chance to be Mortal again. me and Damon sit on the front porch.

"Damon if you don't want the cure i won't make you take it and neither will i"

"Elana i want nothing more than to grow old with you, have children with you and have grand children, to get grey hair and for out teeth to fall out as long as its with you"

we hold the cure i our hand and on 3 we take them

"1...2...3"

we both down the cure we both close our eyes and pass out in the porch swing holding hands.

Damons pov

I wake up and Elana is still out cold i get up and walk in side to the smell of pancakes.

"hey Bonnie, what's with the pancakes?"  i ask

"Todays a good day Damon im no longer am a vampire and back to a normal human life."

it worked it actually worked i grab a knife and carefully cut the palm of my hand... and i didn't heal. It worked!!! Im human again.

I  hear the floorboards creak as elena walks in, i run over to her and pick her up kissing her.

"IT WORKED!!!!" i scream in excitement. I put Elana back down and kiss her forehead.

"I LOVE YOU DAMON SALVATORE" i looked her and smile widely and all i can say is 

"I Cant wait to marry you Elena Gilbert" she looks at me confused. I get down on one knee and pull a ring box out of my jean pocket.

"Elena Gilbert will you do the honours of being mine for the rest of our human lives and marry me?"

"YES I LOVE YOU DAMON"

Rebecca and Bonnie decide to leave for the night after all the excitement now it's just me and Elena.

we lay in her bed with her head on my chest listening to the sound of my heartbeat.

"I cant believe that Rebecca even found a way to fix the old age side effect of the culture, she is pure amazing' Elana says half sleep.

hey guys im sorry this part is short i pre-wrote these parts and i  didn't write any more because i want your guys's opinions on the book and please let me know if i should continue writing this have them get harried,have kids grow old or if you rather just leave it where it ended be sure too let me know.
