This chapter is based off of the song: Marry Me by Train

Sorry about the shortness of this chapter. It's pretty hard to write, since my creativity is low right now.

Enjoy!

...

I went straight to the mall, and into the most fanciest jewelers there was. I brought Stacy with me, just because I can. I walked in, out of breath from walking so fast. "How may I help you, sir?" The formal lady at the desk asked. "An engagement ring." I said, straight forwardly. "Are you two getting married?" The lady asked, cooing me and Stacy. We both looked at each other awkwardly. "No, not me. It's him and my best friend." Stacy said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Who is the lucky lady?" She asked, smiling. "Oh, it's not really a lady. It's my boyfriend, Joey." I said, blushing. "Oh! Okay, so I'm guessing you want a men's ring?" She asked. I nodded. "Okay, well that man with a black vest will help you out. Congratulations, by the way!" She said happily, and lead me over to a man with spiked up black hair, suit, and tie. "Chris, these people are looking for a men's engagement ring. Mind helping them out?" She asked. "Okay! Hey guys. Who is the one popping the question?" He asked, with a flamboyant voice. "Me!" I raised my hand, slightly. "Okay. My name is Chris, obviously. So do you know his ring size?" He asked. "It's a 7." I informed. Chris nodded, and got a tray of rings out from the display cabinet. I scanned over them, looking at every detail. "Have any ideas?" I asked Stacy. "I personally like this one, myself." Stacy said, pointing to a wide ring, with tiny diamonds circling it. It was beautiful, but the price was what caught me. Oh well, I'd buy anything for Joey. "Me too. How much is this?" I asked, pointing to it.

"That one is 500 dollars. There is a sale for that. No one wants it because it's vintage." Chris shrugged. "How much is it usually worth?" Stacy asked. "About 1000 dollars. It's beautiful, but I guess people these days want more modern engagement rings. Do you want an engraving?" He asked. "I guess so. Make it have the letters, SK. It's kind of an inside thing." I explained, referring to the whole Skinny Love thing. He nodded, and took a large engraving tool. I watched him do the process, and after that...the ring looked even more beautiful. "You like?" He asked. I nodded, happily. "Well that's great!" He said, clapping his hands. I paid for the ring, and left satisfyingly. He also put it in a white velvet box, which was also vintage. "Okay, so should I go with Joey now?" Stacy asked. "Yeah, you should. I'll see you later." I said, my heart racing. Stacy let out an, "Eeeeeep!" And scurried off. I smiled to myself, and went home to change and prepare myself.

...

Once I got home, I got a call from Joey. Oh, dear. I'll just say I had to do some important things. Will that sound douchey? Oh well, I'll make up for it.

"Hey Joey." I picked up the phone.

"Hey, Tyler. It's our one year anniversary." He said, excitedly.

"I know, babe I know. I have some incredibly important things to do. I can't make it today. I'm sorry."

"Like what?" I could hear the hurt in his voice.

"I have to go to the YouTube space, and other YouTube related things."

"Okay. I guess we'll do something tomorrow?"

"Most definitely!"

"Okay. I love you, Tyler."

"I love you too, Joey. With all of my heart. Happy one year."

"Happy one year."

He hung up the phone, sadly. It pinched my heart, but it will be worth it later. I took a deep breath, and dressed up in a suit. I put my hand over my quickly beating heart. This is it. The day my life will change. Today is only mine and Joey's day. No one can take this feeling from me. I first called my dad, and told him what I'm going to do. He said he was happy for me, and saw it coming. Then I called Joey's parents. They both were super exited, and gave me full permission. Everything is going as planned, and as hoped. I just hope Joey says yes.
